I think that V for Vendetta was a pretty decent movie, I mean I totally get his hate for the movies based on his work but nonetheless, V for Vendetta remains on of the better movies in my opinion.
Now, see YouTubers, before I read From Hell (since one of favourite graphic novels) I wasn't that interested in the Jack the Ripper crimes. All I knew was that he was a prostitute-killing serial killer who was never caught. It took Moore and Campbell to lure me in, with finely written and drawn infotainment.
Actually I am in great debt to From Hell. I have learned more about London and its history that in all of the years in school (this being said by one living in a country where English is not the first language, but I think that can be said if you're a native Brit as well I suppose). Wonderfully enchanting book!

'Him being a comic person probably t3wenty spotty boys enjoyed it?'
I loath peevishly vapid interviewers with no respect for the medium (because we couldn't call them writers and lets ignore comics being a talent pool for movies and television) or the audience.
He just wrote the stories didn't he? Does anyone know how to get a comic going if you're just a writer? I love to write, but I can't draw for crap....
Find a writer who's willing to work with you. Once you get working for a company, they often have staff writers, so this becomes incredibly easy; or at least easier. When you're first starting out, it can be difficult if you don't have a friend or contact or some such.
'An extremely right-wing government who would have put security monitor cameras on every street corner' & the date '1997' - does this sound familiar to those in the UK?

Pity comics don't get the attention and the market they deserve. And more than anyone else does Alan Moore.
It's cool Jonathan Ross is such a big fan.

Well I'm spotty.
I'm a boy.
I enjoy Alan Moore.
Woss gets things right now and again, I suppose... ;-)

Same difference. From Moore's perspective, there's no difference at all I'm sure.
LOL, but don't blame me for my lack of knowledge! I was only 7 in 97!

It definitely rings true for us in America... well, those few of us that can pry our eyeballs away from 'reality' TV.
