Death and the Gypsy is a mythology good video. The Grim Reaper makes regular appearances in literature, movies, and television; as we are going to the Gate Of Death the day we are born, and this matured the Reaper spirit. The Gypsy character illustrates skill, society values skills; the Grim Reaper is looking around for the unskilled, unwanted, and unsung for the premature passing away. A good story and a relevant lesson of life, even a music skill can create value for the life.

The concept is similar to Schehrazade's from the Arabian Nights. I liked it but the voice acting and the sound quality aren't as good.

OK, here's the thing that buggs me, he might as well die if he spends the rest of his life playing songs for Death. And yes, even though it is only at night, he doesn't sleep because he is awake all night so he sleeps all day. So here is is life: SLEEP SONG SLEEP SONG SLEEP SONG for ever. Doesn't sound too fun, huh?

Love the story, even if it is not original....the only thing that bugs me is when would the gypsy sleep? If he slept during the day, then the rest of his life would be playing songs for death, which doesn't really cheat him out of it. Meh, still very good.

I think that instead of bland narration, it should have either, not been narrated, or it had been narrated through song. Like making it rhyme, and then have the narrator singing along to the music.

I really like the story and the animation is great. My one and only complaint is that the narration sounds like it was recorded in someones bedroom. You can hear the noise gate kicking in a few seconds after he stops speaking but as soon as he starts again. There's that open room reverb goin on. JMHO.
