I was at Gamestop the day it came out. And last time I wnet there and preordered it, the guy told me to ask for the gun in case they might forget it. So I'm at Gamestop and when I'm all done purchasing it, I ask about the gun. The guy says "Oh yeah, it's inside." Then I got sad. Then when I opened it. I was like "What the fuck?" It's really small. Then I liked it. And then I broke the top moving thing off. Then I was "Aw." Then I couldn't find it when it broke off. So yeah. That's how I got it.

if you think about it in the game the plasma cutter was supposed to be a flashlight with a sergical plasma laser on it so if it seems small just remember, flashlight. and who says its just a replica, just go buy some plasma at the nearist plasma store and go hunting with it. (see what idiot asks where to find the store)

I Was excited when I got to gamestop to get the game( I preordered Limited edition) And someone beside me opened the collectors at the store. To be frank, I'm Glad I didnt go with the collectors edition. Isaac is actually a hobbit origionally cast to play as Frodo. Thats why the Plasma cutter was so small.

Hell, the collector's edition of the first Dead Space cost $150 and not only did it sell out, people are paying $1,000 for it now! Look at the prestige editions for Call of Duty, they were $150 but had awesome gear

Bottom line, true fans would have payed $150 for the real deal. I hate cheap shit. If the company is going to make a collectors edition, for god sake go all out and make it the best you can!!
