I´m not a star trek fan but I would like to live in a place like this no cause of the star trek mania there because everyone gets together like a community like it should be , no like here in the USA that you don´t even know who lives next door
@mightykaytor ROFL i would love to see a group of stormtroopers, wookies, jedi and smugglers facing off against klingons, ferengi, starfleet, and vulcans that would be a hillarious picture.
That is the historic aboriginal name of the site. for 6000 years Blackfoot indians drove buffalo over the cliff here. More effective and safer than trying to kill them by hand. Nothing to do with "country".
I moved there form calgary for a couple months and it actually not that bad, Not everyone is obssed with star trek, therea actually ALOT of people who havent even wtached it. The town people are all really nice because everyone knows eachother and everyone is thier for eachother. There isnt alot of things to do there but i liked it more than i though i would. I didnt want to leave ! (:
WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?! All you people are being so mean about this. It's a cool and honorable dedication to Gene Roddenbery(RIP) and it is cool in itself. Gosh...
kk sometimes it's good livin there but other times i hate living there, when you are kinda in the middle of town though you don't really notice the star treck thing tho, altho it's kinda funny when people are like travleing here because there like , omg it's the spaceship place, and i'm like dude i call that home
I think what you're seeing is just a bit of rainwater turning the statue base a darker shade of brown. Either that or the evidence of yet another intergalactic dust-up in Vulcan.

"Authentic Vulcan Ears"??? As opposed to "Fake Vulcan Ears"?
Aren't the poor citizens of this town completely embarassed by all of this?

I totally need to go there!!! It is indeed somewhat like a Star Trek pilgrimage site:)

right at the beginning (visible only for a split second) was that the famous hotel from the movie SHINING?
Feuchtraumfanta 2 years ago
That hotel is the Banff Springs Hotel. It is used as a backdrop for many movies.
