  • I love this program! Oh and bye Mia!

  • one thing kills this program for me.. inability to change background color.. in the evening, my eyes are too sensitive for pure white color on a screen

  • its not celtix.org, its celtix.com

  • what the hell happened to the website?

  • How cool of you to do this tutorial. Thank you!

  • Thanks for posting this, it's very helpful. Kindest regards;

  • Awesome tool and free.....priceless!!!!!

  • Saying hi from your favorite CMT120 class!!

  • lmao, washing his laundry and dishes in carwash, nice one XD

  • @AussieCop1987 poo baby

  • i have been using Celtx since it originated i remember! Love the program!

  • i thought it was pretty simple so far. i will more that likely get lost later on but so far think i got it.

  • We're just going to use the basics of the program but it does have a lot of options.

  • This software is awesome and is easy to use.

  • It is one of my favorites.

  • I know I have used this for the JJ Video, and it was a little confusing to me. Will it get better if I continue to use the program?

  • I hope it will be easy to understand with this video as help.

  • My roommate took a screenplay class a few years back, and had to buy final draft. I remember it almost put us on the streets, just kidding but it was exspensive!

I am happy that I won't have to purchase any softwear for class, and that I have such a consise introduction to the program.

    (cute baby!)

  • It was a student who found Celtx for me. It has everything you need. I haven't used anything else since.

  • thank you :)

  • bye,bye baby. Brief, clear and to the point. I like your digital facial insert in your explanation and celtx screen. Enjoy all the time with baby. Time goes by quick 22 and 26 yr old daughters now. Raul X

  • Very nice guide! Thank you!

  • Don't know who came up with I/E, but out of the thousand scripts I have read I have never seen it used. Int. and Ext. are for camera placement, not where the actor is.

And that is a lot of mouse movement, in Final Draft I can go 20 pages and never need to use a mouse

    but good instruction for beginners

  • You can use keys on Celtx as well. I'm just a mouse clicker. You can't beat the price of Celtx. I can't see the point of buying Final Draft as a beginning screenwriter. Celtx is perfect for someone getting started.

  • @nmsugrants

I do agree, if Celtx had been around years ago I never would have spent 300 on Final Draft

  • You should be able to copy and paste from Word to Celtx. I've done that before. Or you could probably save it as a text file and open it right up in Celtx.

  • @ahabblogme

a script can not be more than 120 pages

  • @johnmonk66 well its a page a minute as a rule of thumb..these days some movies are 3 hours. so it is possible to have one that is 180 pages.

  • lol i should DL this but my computer has to many things on it lol like frap and wegame recorder =/ lol

  • Time to buy a new computer :)

  • That was very helpful

  • Good... I should have had everyone watch it in class before we did script writing.
