@Deeagle50 I doubt it, I dropped my membership in 2009 and haven't been back since. I live too far away now and have my own gun range. Thanks anyway. What NFA did you buy?
@C2builder Got a MAC 11 9mm with a silencer. Kind of the entry level machine gun lol , but can't wait till the ATF decides to finish the paperwork and let me have it :)
@gigitygigitygooga I assume you mean in a defensive position? If so then it would have to be the Vickers gun. Water-cooled, belt-fed, excellent sights, good ballistic caliber in .303, reliable, able to fire non-stop for hours on end and a slow enough rate of fire to sustain a good sight picture while mowing down mass charges.
Surpressed weapons are louder than i imagined. I know it sounds dumb, but im from England and only ever (legally) fired an L85A2 (SA-80) 5.56. Gun laws are gay
Whenever I see an MG42 at a machine gun shoot, it's always on a tripod mount. In my opinion, that setup really takes away the connection between man and the machine, when all you can do is pull the trigger lever. I wish more MG42 owners would allow individuals at machine gun shoots to enjoy the experience off the bipod.
@SSSCLimitedTrademark Couldn't agree more, but getting people to shoot from the bipod (are Heaven forbid the shoulder) is harder to do.....everyone is afraid of it.
@SpencerAK74M Unfortunately I'm not able to do the inviting anymore, I was a guest just like the others shown here. I used to be the Executive Officer of this MG Range and organized all of the MG Shoots. I resigned from the club last year and I am not even a club member anymore.
Great to see youngsters shooting , the best way to teach kids to respect weapons , if a child can respect a weapon knowing what it is designed for, they will learn respect for themselves and others.
I love me that Ruger with the 22 conv. :-)) but the mg42 is cool too. I've been lucky enough to have had my hands on and shot most of those guns and a few others back before video was used. I've got a video of the photos on my site (Fun Times for All). Take Care :-))
*Click, Clack* "Owwoouch!" LOL. Nice way to spend an afternoon. The range still looks the same from when i was there....not raining this time though. :)
Have you thought about using tracer ammo for your videos or are they too expensive? No doubt it would make it easier to see the bullets fly and better appreciate the rate of fire, especially in 480p..
@AdmiralNeeda Not expensive just hazardous. Here in Texas there are roaming burn bans during certain parts of the year, so using tracers is a no-no unless it is pouring down rain.
Someday in 300 years an archiologist is going to dig up that refridgerator and think it was some type of defensive position in a war. he will have a hell of a time figuring out how it was used.
@C2builder I kind of figured that. It's just that it was the first time that I remember seeing one in your videos. Do you think you'll ever get one yourself? If not why don't you invite the owner to your new home and range for a review?
@C2builder I'm sorry, this is something i should know. But what was the purpose of the nfa 1986. I don't understand the difference between select fire weapons before '86 and after. Could you enlighten me a bit. thanks man.

Do you build reproductions of ww2 era rifles or do you work mainly with machine guns.

@happyman489 Mainly machine guns, there is no real profit in building and selling other types of firearms.

Too bad there's no more public MG Shoots there, but you do have a better shooting area with way more space.

@TheIronicBanana Individual citizen can own machine guns, they just have to be built before 1986.
