  • nice for revolvers against rats!!!

  • I think the 22 mag version of these would be a better choice for rats and such.

  • Would these work in a ruger bearcat?

  • would it be possible to go skeet shootin with these

  • i have some....they ricocheted and hit me in the face

  • Unless your standing over the target they are practically useless from what i can see, am i right?

  • i got some and they dont do shit all. i would let you shoot me with it at 25 yrds

  • I would love to see you stick one of those up a rodent's butt.

  • good info.

  • by the way, i particularly enjoyed the first 20 seconds!

  • i really appreciate your video. it answered all of my questions concerning the cci .22 cal. shotshell. your vid was on the first page of the google search, and through your video, all the information i wanted was provided. once again, thank you for the video!

  • Pop a 100 round clip of these into a Ruger Charger made full auto and I bet we'll see some self defense possibility.

  • @phantomshtter They won't even cycle. That one round is just going to make someone mad. You might scare them but there isn't enough power or even enough of a pattern to wound them, let alone put them down. I mean you can have at it, but why not use a regular .22LR?

  • @fofalooza Then how the hell are these even on the market?!?!?! Seriously, DO THEY SELL TV'S THAT DON'T CHANGE CHANNELS? This is ridiculous!

  • @phantomshtter

they are awesome for shooting mice in my garage, they wont chew up the walls.

  • @phantomshtter well if thats a semi auto firearm, you'll only get one shot off before you have to rack it again...

  • @phantomshtter 3:00

    Won't even cycle.

2 inches of penetration won't even go trough clothing and skin.

  • @bf2lover42 goes through eyeball pretty easily I'll bet. Now if they can only make it cycle...

  • @phantomshtter Are you actually trying to convince me a headshot is a good self-defense option?

I'm sorry, I prefer a quick succession of heavier projectiles expanding and ripping trough arteries and lungs to be more reliable than spraying and praying for a CNS shot trough the eyes.

Use whatever you want for self defense but please don't recommend it. We don't need people dying because of bullshit advice.

  • @bf2lover42 Boy do you ever like to put words in someone's mouth eh? 18.5" Mossberg 500 cruiser laser/light combo attachment loaded with 3" 00buck arms reach from bed side. You have no idea who you're trying to pigeon hole. Go fill someone else's mouth with your words, your kind is the worst I swear.

  • @bf2lover42 I hear your video game buddies calling you, better run along and play now son.

  • Are these ok to fire from any .22lr? Pistol even?

  • I use these when frogging. Works awesome!

  • wouldent these ruin the rifling on ur barrel ? i know you cant use birdshot on a rifle barrel only a smoothbore

  • @greenfiend42000 I don't think the shots would mess up the rifleing. Those shots are very small and made of soft lead while the barrel is made of heavy steel.

  • @benadrylp yeah thanks i contacted the company and they said exactly what you did . now instead of wasting money on my remington 870 rounds i can use shot shells for dove hunting :D

  • thank you this video helped me out alot i mostly just wasnt sure whether or not they would damage a rifled barrel and if they would cycle in an automatic

  • @reece37EGG97 I don't think I would put these through a rifled barrel myself. Neither would I just take the word of anybody on whether you can or cant. Ask a knowledgeable gunsmith dude. I know I will.

  • That'll you I was thinking about getting some till I watched this

  • Probably won't find this in my ammo box but it's still good to know what it is capable of doing. Again, a wonderful video and work. Thumbs up.

  • if you use it for self defence will it injure someone

  • so they really suck ?

  • Another idiot. Good grief. And no, you aren't clever or funny.

  • are they loud

  • In my country theres no need for self-defence guns :)

  • @TheThh sure lol

  • Not a defensive load? How would you like a face full of them things at five feet? perfect for a .22 derringer.

  • @supressorgrid It would hurt like a bitch, probably chip teeth and puncture eyes, but no death.

  • @Perogi360 Trus, but I still would not like a face full of rat shot therefore it is a good deterrent. As I say in one of my videos you can discourage the average crack head with a BB gun.

  • @supressorgrid It's unlikely to be fatal and certainly gives very little actual stopping power. It's more likely just to further aggrivate your attacker.

  • @Bluelunes My blind attacker.

  • @supressorgrid Maybe if you managed to hit them in the eyes and they weren't wearing ANYTHING at all to cover them up.

  • It would be interesting to see what would happen if you put some larger pellets in it and a hotter load of powder.

  • just renember what there made for

  • these are a cool round but i tried using it for pest birds and they are not effective over 20 yards.

  • @devyn172 what i mean by non effective is you couldnt hit a crow from 30 feet away.

  • wow. dispersal is extremely excessive for being fired from a long gun. i might be stretching it a bit but i think the culprit is the rifling. i think i read somewhere that some military shotguns had rifled chokes to increase dispersal. kinda makes sense when you think about it. as for this round, i doubt ill be buying it anytime soon. any ammo that looks like it belongs behind a pharmacy counter probably wont serve my needs.

  • we killed 250 birds with my single shot bolt (its from like 1943 and lsot the clip) and a new model singel six...in my buddies mink sheads

  • @kainhall we were shooting using the cripmed heads...my rifle is perty long and would totaly blow them up at 5 feet and kill out to 25 feet. the pistol at 10 was stretching it.

  • Is it a suppository?

  • Great video!! I've always been curious about these shotshells.

  • so would you say the best gun to use these in would be a revolver?

  • I found this to be a useless load, thanks for breaking it down.

  • @madR6 I am a ninja

  • great vid. seems that at 15 feet, the rodent or snake gets away. at 10, it's hurt and suffering and needs a closer/kill shot. at 5, it's hurt badly and just maybe killed. at 3 feet, you've just been bit....

  • These work for hunting also?

  • @gamerfan81 he keeps saying close range, so if you are a ninja, yeah!

  • federal do something similar to these but they are a full brass case with a crimp type of end so no plastic cup type thing on the end

  • Are you Kipkay?

  • @Fire23eater right now I'm doing a report about people needing to be pro gun and one of my statistics is that criminals do not care if guns are banned or not they will find a way to get them. For example New York city has banned guns but the still have one of the highest murder rates 50% of those are fire arm related stupid demo.

  • @godzillaman235 Its actually the safest large city in the country, per capita. "New York city has banned guns but the still have one of the highest murder rates" is wrong in many ways, i hope you haven't handed in that report yet.

  • @sassafrass445 ur right i fized my report ( igot a B)

  • @TrollingSux so dose my dad he said that when he was a kid there was an actual type of ammo called snake shot and the would shoot at snakes in their backyard with their ruger Mark ii pistol

  • I think I'd rather just aim.. and have a cycling weapon.

  • Great review, exacty what i was looking for

  • My gramps calls these bullets snake shots.

  • @TrollingSux i have a smooth bore .22 and thats what my grandpa used it for lol

  • @TrollingSux I've heard it called ratshot quite often before. I guess it's for any small critter.

  • i found a few of these in my grandfathers ammo box he kept in his closet a long time ago lol i thought they were awesome

  • dos a sguarl count

  • if thats the case just use the 12 gauge??

  • Supository ajajajajaja Genius!

  • Your video went viral on Peru

  • I always wondered how they get out of the plastic case... I would love to see the design of the plastic case.

  • great for shooting mice and snakes up close, anything farther than about ten feet and they are useless. Will not cycle in my marlin model 60 either.

  • Seems like even for pest control this would be iffy...

  • they make for an excellent back massage

  • These are a lot fun for getting rid of carpenter bees!

  • It may not work for armored targets, but a shot in the body without a vest could be deadly, or at least a nightmare of pain and blood for the bastard that received the shot.

  • nice vid man

  • would these be effective for snakes in a revolver?

  • You have to use a handy dandy lead dispencer!!!!hahahahahah

  • Did you try in a revolver? Issues?

  • This video went viral on Lome

  • I got a question:

Are these safe to shoot in a 10/22? I read the owners guide and it said no shotshells should be shot out of it. Is there any way that these could damage that gun?

  • @AirlinePilotStuart it could affect the rifling of the barrel.

  • lol his jokes r dumb

  • the begining had some humor that i gotta admit

  • that looks like fun for backyard insect hunting (not kidding)

  • So before you leave another stupid comment, with your stupid bias ideology! Why don't you sit there and think of all the good that has come from civilians having guns instead of just focusing on the bad things. Instead of looking at the glass as being half empty, why don't you look at it as being half full

  • Fire23eater

If guns are responsible for killing people then I can blame my pen/pencil for misspelling words then too right?

It's idiots like you, who are extremely mis-informed. That are more dangerous then the average gun owner who uses it for self- defense or fun. It's our right to have guns, if we listen to your wayward ideology we as a country wouldn't exist because the revolution would of never happened.

  • NO PUT IT UP YOUR BUTT ANIMAL KILLER

  • Might be usefull as a non-lethal ,piss em off & make em run round in a single shot rifle. I'll get some...

  • @rebel69society revolvers are the way to go with these things, especially if its a double action, since it doesnt need the blow back to cycle. my friend keeps some of these around as a defense for his single action 22 revolver, but i had no idea they were this underpowered or this scattering. im gonna have to break it to him that these will not work at ALL for that purpose

  • Should of tried it in a smoothbore .22 shotgun. Hard to find.

  • wats CCI stand for?

  • lmao "is it a suppository?"

  • is your ballistic gel mozzarella?

  • Those are bad ass!!

  • oops I spoke to soon.

  • It might be a waste but I would love to see how deep these penetrate in ballistics gel.

  • Thanks for the upload. Great video! I'll be sure not to buy these now!

  • lmao @ intro. over priced tho

  • A face shot would be nasty(maybe deadly) even if it is under powered. I will get a box for the hell of it.

I wish it was cheaper and I could use it on these darn pigeons. They eat my dogs food and crap on my car every day.

    Nice review.

  • @TooLittleRC Go fuck yourself you violent american dog...we need to ban guns cuz people like you are dangerous. Only the military and police need shit like this dumbass.

  • @Fire23eater

do you honestly think that taking away our guns will stop people from killing each other? if i wanted to kill you, i would kill you with a knife or a rock. i dont need a gun to kill you so go fuck yourself

  • @Fire23eater First off who the fuck are you to say "WE"......? You are nobody so you can sit and spin you fucking loser.

I made a comment and it is idiots like you that can't even handle a statement that need to loose their rights you fucking TRENCH COAT MAFIA HEAP OF SHIT. Did I offend you with my last comment?

Shut your face! You ever heard mind your own........ live long? I don't think Military and Police need rodent shot unless the're gunning for you. Piss off you activist puke.

  • @Fire23eater The National Socialist German Workers Party felt the same way. It's much easier to ship people off to death camps when they aren't armed.

I personally think more civilians need to be armed. If someone is properly trained in the safe use of a firearm, there is no good reason for them not to have one.

Cars kill more people than guns. Perhaps we should think of banning cars before we ban guns.

  • @Fire23eater guns are a tool, and tools are no more good or evil than the person wielding them. people have been killing each other for hundreds and hundreds of years, with or without guns. any reason you can find for guns needing to be "banned" can be pointed at the people who used them, or misused them as the case may be. why dont you try advocating teaching the safe use of guns and any other tool, rather than trying to send us back to when we hunted with sticks and stones.

  • @Fire23eater ok so here is a scenario for you...a guy breaks into your house and pulls a knife and threatens your family...you could not have a gun and wait for the police who do have them and turn this into a big hostage situation in which you are likely to get killed....or you could have a gun and when the guy pulls the knife you have your gun put a round in his knee which is a shot that will incapacitate him but not kill him and there is no more threat...just think about it

  • @xXxMarjarxXx

    HA!

Good luck with that! You're more likely to be killed by a police officer than a gun owner.

  • @TooLittleRC you need a pellet gun

  • thats fucking awesome

  • just got my 10/22 rugger today :D

  • Shooting them out of the rifle doesn't damage the rifling in the barrel at all dose it?

  • @HexagramMan no

  • @HexagramMan you will have to clean your .22 alot with these. loads of lead build up

  • could we see this with the sim test media?

  • these are real fun to shoot rats and mice with if you got an old barn to do it in.

  • I like the video and agree these rounds are crap on was shooting squirrel and 8 feet hit them every time 20 shots 1 kill

  • Very accurate review of this ammo, i also was NOT impressed with there power. Also, the price is rediculous! I think i paid 4.79 for 20 rounds, yet, i can pay 5.49 for 25 rounds of birdshot for my 12ga!! Im a huge fan of the .22lr and feel it's the most underestimated round, but with this particular ammo, it def is underpowered for it's intended purpose.

  • Side affects may include...bleeding,

  • These would not even kill a tiny red squirrel from ten feet away. Garbage!

  • Comment removed

  • i can see why people would shoot these as a novelty but frankly you're better off using a powerful pellet gun rather than spending money on these

  • @threelittleniglets i agree

  • @threelittleniglets safer for indoor use like in a basement

  • @threelittleniglets Or better yet, Aguila's Super Colibri. They have about 11 ft pounds of energy, about that of 1000fps .177 rifle. And cheaper if you're only using them for pest control.

  • i love shooting my ex-wife in her fat ass with those

  • Hmm... well if i cant use it for self defense, i'll use it to get the kids off my lawn.

  • TN, i think a better option to this is a semi auto 22 pistol,rifle and a bulk pack of .22 HP`s..........

  • i think you should try the federal game shok 22 shotshell. i havent tried cci's flavor, but i get much better shot pattern with my 5" SA/DA 22 revolver. i also think the brass crimp might create more cyclic energy than cci's plastic cap.

  • imagine the 9mm one XD would be like a lil hand shotgun

  • @r8der831 Nah. That's called a .410 shotgun load, and can fit in .45 Long Colt guns. THAT'S a 'Lil hand shotgun'.

  • @ShadeStalker1915 .410 shotshells are too long and will NOT chamber in a .45 long colt gun.

  • Comment removed

  • I shot bumblebees with these over the summer lol

  • wait so if i was using these in my rifle could i go pheasant and grouse hunting with these and be qualified as a shotgunner

  • Interesting review, very informative. I'm not surprised about the cycling issue at all regarding this round. Using a .22LR revolver or any non semi-automatic with this ammo will be most effective if you really need to kill rodents lol. *thumbs up & favs video*

  • hahaha we call them wizz bangs they are fun to shoot but you have to be so close

  • I kind of want to see you catch a rat and supposite the round.

  • good for gigging frogs

  • @69mrcrash I have a smooth bore .22 derringer. I'll have to personally test the shotshells in it because I think it would work quite well in it.

  • @69mrcrash They definitely exist. I saw an idiot reviewing one the other day talking about how stupid a smoothbore .22 is. Except everyone in the comments very kindly told him it's a .22 shotgun not made for regular .22 ammo.

  • The rifling causes the shot to spin and when it leaves the muzzle it flings apart.

  • "you mean i have to catch um and shove it..."

  • wat did the poor jug do to u lol

  • I might use these in a .22 revolver. However they aren't lethal for any larger than a rat or a small snake. I'll stick to my taurus Judge.

  • @Cainkane1 Well they are generally not lethal, but there was a hitman who used these at close ranges. They were extremely effective and basically turned the brain into pudding.

  • im not too sure i would ever use these

  • very thorough review, you sir have earned yourself a subscription

  • I use these on rattle snakes when I go hiking every summer

  • Some company needs to make a 1/2 scale pump action shotgun that shoots these. That would be so much fun to have.

  • @southparkfan1027 It's called a .410!! Lol

  • wow its a mini shotgun shell lol!

  • I hate snakes... I want to be more than 3ft.

  • Didn't Marlin or H&R make a smooth bore carbine or pistol that was smooth bore made specifically for shot shells for garden pest control?

  • @stereonut001 Marlin Garden Gun, .22 mag.

  • can the balls get caught in the rifling and cause fouling?

  • I want some

  • You could use it for self defense, they would leav you alone that's for sure

  • @TwinJPC Yea wouldn't kill someone but it would hurt like hell and probably blind them if you shot them in the face. lol

  • Your videos are great. Well done and thanks!

  • i shot thoughs at a hundred yards but didnt hit shit

  • pest control what the fuck?

  • would that mess up the rifling in the barrell

  • rofl out of 4 targets he only hit on on the orange lol

  • Will they damage the rifling in your barrel?

  • @skiottawa no they won't hurt the rifling it says so on the back of the ammo box
