what if you put on semi auto and it don't shoot but when you but full auto it shoot...? so what is the problem can you make a video how an you fix this problem b there is no videos on how to fix p90 semi auto problem :(
@Minecraftering121 Since the P90 has a 2 stage trigger, it has two separate trigger contacts. If you take the gearbox out you can see the two trigger contacts in the clear housing. The first set controls semi auto. Chances are the two contacts are too far apart so the center contact will not complete the circuit. Just take some needle nose pliers and pinch them a little closer together and it should resolve that problem.
@airjordan23233 If the rifle stopped working and this trick did not work, but you did see a spark, then something might be broken in the gearbox (piston, gear). One thing you might want to double check is your battery. Make sure it is actually charged fully so it would actually be able to fire the rifle.
@HBTechnoDude Possibly there is something else wrong with the gun then. This troubleshooting tip is only for this one situation. Other things can make the gun not work correctly. Bad battery, blow fuse, broken solder joint, burnt contacts, etc.
@saounyang Are you using a high capacity magazine? If so, try switching to the standard magazine and give it a try. The E90 does not feed well in semi auto when used with a high cap.
Can any one help me i have a different problem with my echo1 e90 and i got it yesterday!!!there was a jammed bb so i took the clening rod and got it out and now when i load a mag it wont shoot the bbs.the mag is fine and it makes a weird fireing sound in the back of the gun PlEASE help me thx..!
@theoldmacarooni8 There are two contacts on the E90 trigger switch. The first set is inside of the plastic housing and control semi auto. The second set on the outside of the housing control full auto. You would need to open up the housing and push the contacts closer together so that the center contact will touch both sides when it is pushed back.
My e90 stopped working but the motor works the fuse is working the internals are all connected and the gears are all intact but its still not working.
That happened to me 2. I cut of a little of the top of the where the bbs go in, the u shapped plastic part, just cut on each side like half a mm on the top of the u and it should fit.
I have the UTG M4commando, i cleaned my gn reguarly with the cleaning rod but i used a piece of paper towel. when puttingthe rod in thje gun everything went fine. when i tried to take it out the whole top part of the cleaning rod came off and it will not come out of the barrel. i have tried shooting and pushing it with the rod more but it is not coming out. im not sure what i should do. i do not know how to take it apart and im afraid i might break something so please give me some advice.thanks
hey i took apart my gearbox and when i fire it it sounds like the motor is just spinning and its not pushing the spring back or anything. what do i do?
Hey shortyusa I need to reshim my gun (echo 1 e90) and was but my semi doesnt work at all. I'm not fully sure what is wrong because auto works fine and I think my contact might be bent preventing it to complete the circuit so would a new wire set (with the contact do the trick?
You may have a stripped piston or a broken tooth on a gear. However, you could just need to adjust the motor. Take the butt plate off and locate the small 1.5mm hex screw near the bottom of the battery compartment. Turn that screw a full turn and try shooting it to see if the noise changes. If not try it a few more times attempting to fire it in-between each time. If that doesn't correct the issue then you most like do have a stripped piston or gear.
I've had my Echo 1 E90 for about 2 weeks now. The last time I tried to fire it, I noticed that single shot would not work. I could fire on automatic all I wanted, but that's all. The only time single shot would work is if I pressed the trigger down really hard, and then it would fire on automatic. Could you please tell me what to do here?
It could be the same as above. The E90 has two internal trigger switches. One for semi and one for full. If you pull back hard enough you can engage the full auto for an instant even if you are on semi auto.
I just recieved my echo 1 E90 and it is really hard to fire on single fire (I have to press down on the trigger really hard) Its fine on full auto though. Are all E90s like this? (if not please tell me how to fix it)
If you have to pull back on the trigger really hard it sounds like your contact points are bent out. When you pull the trigger it moves a metal plate back which bridges the gap between the two contacts which completes the circuit. If those contacts are bent out too far you would have to pull back hard on the trigger when in semi auto in order to bridge the gap.
If the gun is still under warranty, send it back to get fixed. If not, you can take the gearbox out (E90 Field Stripping video) so you would be able to get to those contacts and bend them in slightly. Just be gentle because they can snap off if you bend them too much.
marui will last forever. i have 2 both with atleast 100k rounds through each and ive been running an intellect 10.8v in one with no problems for over a year. if u have the money, get a marui.
It sounds like youre a little more than moderately experienced if you are planning on doing all that. If you intend to basically gut the rifle anyway you might as well go with the ECHO 1. The ECHO 1 is less expensive and it has a metal receiver. The Marui has better internals however the ECHO 1 has a better body. If you are replacing the internals you might as well get the better body in my opinion.
k well im very good like mechanic so would it be better with echo 1 i have always wanted a tm but i guess i can get the echo 1 and use the extra 150 on some mags
i agree with shortyusa. the tm is known to have creaks rattles and wobbly parts and e1 is a lot less expensive. trust me i own a e1 p90 and it is built rock solid and since you are planning on changing the internals it would make it better than tm. Trust shortyusa i have bought from them and i think, considering them being one of the largest and most trusted dealers in the world, the would know what ther talking about
i would say mauri, mauri's last pretty long, trust me, nd some parts to different guns aren't tht hard to find, but the only problem is tht tokyo mauri guns r pretty expensive

Please Help- I took the upper reciever/barrel out and when I try to put it back it wont snap in
Pyranosis 2 years ago
You might have to press in on the release button when you are sliding the barrel group and the stock back together to get them to fit.
shortyusa 2 years ago
I did-it seems the barrel is not aligning with the firing rod... help?
Pyranosis 2 years ago
There shouldn't be anything keeping it from fiting together. Check around inside of the body to see if you have a BB stuck in there or something.

@FELENATOR I actually contacted Echo 1 and I used a pen to push the firing air pin thing down while I re installed the upper receiver. Thanks though

Yes, it would. However, all you should have to do is bend the contacts back in and that should solve the issue.

its making noise that sounds like gears are grinding

Try pushing the body of the gun on each side of the plate out a little farther so the plate can unlock.
