  • looks like Mick Avory on drums so this is pre 84 for sure. Looks like 83's State of Confusion tour.

  • Weird to see Ray playing a Les Paul and not the usual Les Paul Jr. or Telecaster.

Dave and Jim look like they're having the time of their life.

  • @Sleepwalker1977 ? he played often this way from 1981-1985.

  • is a boot DVD of this show available anywhere?

  • the kinks rock like no other band, they are not like everybody else! GOD SAVE THE KINKS!

  • The Kinks are musical empaths. They didn't just do punk songs, they WERE punk music. They didn't INVENT heavy metal, when they were starting out, for a while they WERE heavy metal. And they were the various other genres they touched. What a fantastic band.

  • Your words speak the gospel Sbarr10 :)

1983 is when I first got into the Kinks and my life was changed forever.

  • love the ending

  • mick is still in the band so 1983 is the best guess

  • crazy, i wonder where this show is from/ 87 huh?

  • I don't think so. I'm pretty sure it's either from 1983 because they play lots of songs from "Give the People..." and "State of confusion".

  • 1983 in Atlanta at The Omni I believe which was the old home of the Atlanta Hawks NBA team.
