I think in web page loading, windows phone 7 actually won, even though iphone loaded first, it has that stupid checkerboard shit, whereas WP7 loads the entire page. i bet if WP7 had checkerboards too, then the page would load instantly.
its impossible to realisticly test which phone is the fastest for web navigation by loading pages at "the same time". Even if you think you have entered all the adresses at the same time, there is a minimun and small fraction of a second of diference. And that actually matters a lot cause the 1 phone that gets touched first sends the request to your router first and gets priority. So you can't compare web navigation like that.
I now have an android 2.2 phone and it isn't choppy at all. It works great but I will admit, it has a crappy battery life. Usually can't make it through the day.

Its nice because they are not dull, they are actually pulling data off of say facebook or twitter on the people hub. It is always doing something! It is in between iOS and Android because it is closed but also opened! so best of both worlds. I am switching over from my precious Evo to the Arrive on March 20th, cannot wait!

Thanks for uploading this video. I think the "best" phone will depend on your lifestyle and current platform adoption in your home/office. For example, if you have 3 PCs and often use XBox for video and gaming, then Windows 7 may be the best choice. You have 3 Macs, Apple TV and iPad and subscribe to Apple MobileMe, and you are not too price conscience then the iPhone4 may be the right choice. Also the video resolution is very high in the iPhone4.

The thing I love most about the WP7 browser and the iPhone browser (I've used both) is the fact that on the WP7 you can choose the 'desktop version' instead of the minimal 'mobile version'. It's sometimes annoying to see a visually rich website getting dumbed down by the iOS to the mobile version. Nice job MS, you're back in the game :)

Thanks for uploading this video. I think the "best" phone will depend on your lifestyle and current platform adoption in your home/office. For example, if you have 3 PCs and often use XBox for video and gaming, then Windows 7 may be the best choice. You have 3 Macs, Apple TV and iPad and subscribe to Apple MobileMe, and you are not too price conscience then the iPhone4 may be the right choice. Also the video resolution is very high in the iPhone4.

so many people talk about the number of apps. the thing is, apps can be developed and the apps that you need, that are crucial to a "smartphone" for its "smart" usage, are already released anyways. so many people complain about the number of apps and surprisingly all i see people using their iphone for is play games. lame stuff guys. plus i hate how iphone loads a web page but gives you checkerboard. what's up with that?

wp7 should be dominating the market but since most people use their iphones to do smart stuff like play games or other smart stuff like show off the apple logo and say ms is lame, they go for the iphone. i have an ipod touch and while using it i could see so many downsides as a smartphone. the calendar sucks and you have to go through so much crap to access something whereas the livetile has everything tiled out there for you.

well this is just my opinion.....1..your iphone is loaded and jailbroken with sprinboard mods..that slows it down badly...2 that win7 phone is quite unresponsive/laggy/buggy .....the windows phone looks kinda empty...i am not an apple fan boy...but to me...i much rather the iphone4

The thing I love most about the WP7 browser and the iPhone browser (I've used both) is the fact that on the WP7 you can choose the 'desktop version' instead of the minimal 'mobile version'. It's sometimes annoying to see a visually rich website getting dumbed down by the iOS to the mobile version. Nice job MS, you're back in the game :)

@miniarma well would say that win mobile 6.5 was completely redesigned because it was utter shit. windows phone 7 took Microsoft 3 years to bring out after ios and u say apple is shit. i mean be logical. yes wp7 and android are great os's and offer a lot of the same features as ios but ios was the first to do it right and pioneer the real smartphone revolution. The only issue with apple is that they focus so much on simplicity that over time their OS has gotten to feel a little stale.
