  • What was he even talking about?

  • fuck cod fanboys who said that the m14 isnt fully auto like my stupid friend who said that the m14 was a ww2 gun that was a single shot and had no recoil at all XD

  • @lol999999ful Dude, your friend is a fucking retard for saying something like that.

  • @WASPfreak i know right XD

  • .308 recoil ain't that bad guys, even with a short barrel. That foregrip is keeping his muzzle down too.

Shoot my old German Mauser or my lever-action .45-70 and tell me that the .308 hurts your shoulder....

  • Correct me if I'm wrong but this is an m14a1 with the pistol grip vertical grip and heavier barrel. They added these features to make full auto fire more controllable

  • now only if they had fully atuo m14s in world war II

  • two things can really aid controlling automatic fire on anyweapon:

    1. proper firing technique and stance

    2. a vertical foregrip, it's not even funny how much of a difference and FVG makes

  • No Cod nerds saying m14 isn't selective fire? YAY!!! ^_^

  • i'm looking at these comments and see alot of people don't know what they are talking about, i know it's History and just so no-one gets confused. the m14 can't be used as a LMG. there was a Version of it that was Tested as a how he put it a "LMG" but there were critical problems with it and it went no-where.

  • @codycody44

An M14 sounds like a terrible base for an LMG.

  • This just proves the soldiers who reported the M-14 was uncontrollable on full auto were pussies.

  • @appa609 You can't see what he's shooting at though. In official army reports they even said the M14 had poor full auto performance, so I'll go by them.

  • @esh325 The weapon wasnt meant to be fired at the rate that was in this video. Its gas operated which cuts down on the recoil and if you fire 3 to 5 round burst like your supose to there is no way anyone can truthfuly say that. You couldnt spray and pray with it because of its size, you could with the M16 but the M16 doesnt have the stoping power especialy at 200 out. If your in the bush theres nothing to compare. Ammo wt. did it in ,not the weapon. 65 "66 67" 68 69 USMC

  • @215jami 100% correct. .223 was much friendlier to airlift than .308.

  • @appa609 It takes a lot of excess concentration and control to fire it on full auto.

  • Hot damn. You man-handled that like a champ.

  • Cawadooty fans just learned something today

  • i didnt know it could go Full-Auto!!! from what ive read on wikipedia it said that it was just a improved version of the M1 Garand so i thought it was semi! but i saw that it said it had absurd recoil during full auto so i was like whaaatt? so i looked it up on youtube cause it has everything and this came up nice video

  • I looked at the specs for the AK and M-14 and (on paper) the M-14 is just as good if not better then the AK in range, Rate of fire, accuracy, etc. The only place the AK is better is in amount of ammo.

  • @BRIANROX1 Just get a 100 round mag for the M-14 and you'll have plenty of ammo. You can also mount a grip to improve stability.

  • @BRIANROX1 The M14 has far better range. The M14 fires a 7.62x51, which flies a lot faster and has superior ballistics then to the AK's 7.62x39. Then again, the extra range is not needed of the M14 for regular combat engagements, as most are 300m's or less. The M14 is more suitable as a DM rifle then an infantry rifle imo. The M14 has a slightly higher rate of fire then the M14, but it doesn't matter as it has poor full auto performance.

  • Dang took the recoil like a champ

  • for those who think its something different from other m14s its not m14s are full auto and semi

  • Jesus, this guy ran a freakin' M14 like it's a .22...

  • was that the 308

  • To any of those pussies who say the m-14 has to much recoil, watch this video.

  • @a2redneck 308 kicks like a mule man go fire one

  • @larkin540 i know i did, but ya get used to it after a while.

  • I would't been a bad idea to use this in our armed forces...

  • @zerocker45 1 We did, between 1950 and 1964/65. The M16 replaced it as the primary assult rifle because it was lighter and each indivisual soldier could carry more ammunintion. the M14 is still being used for marksmen and snipers.

  • @gooyzit I know i meant to still use it as our main assault rifle cause it is a super powerfull rifle.. I would rather use this in a jungle against vietnames than the M16... I bet that when our soldiers M16 broke in the middle of a firefight they wish they were using an M14 instead....

  • they shoulda had this atachment in blackops

  • If im not mistaking thats the m14a1 am I correct?

  • @MrSilver497 yes, thats right

  • @GunMaker91 other than the bipod in the back what else is different from the other m14 model.

  • @MrSilver497 the differentce is that the a1 gots a pistol grip, the m14 is gripstocked

  • Makes the ak47 look like a piece of shit

  • @4570dylan no it makes the m16 piece of shit

  • m-14 m1 Garand with a clip and fully auto option =)

  • @TroopperFoFo Actually the M-14 is a Garand with a detachable magazine, shorter round, select fire and an enhanced gas system. The Garand had the en-bloc clip.

  • @360jarhead

M16s weren't made for combat. They were made for Air Force Personnel. Not your best choice in battle.

    (Soldiers use M4A1s now)

  • @UmbraMooh No, the air force just happened to invest in them first, silly.

  • got to be a shock the first time

  • เจ๋งงงงงง

  • amazing !!!! one of the best rifle ever

  • Props to that guy for not going anti-air with the M14. That rifle is monster of a weapon.

  • wow you handled the recoil fine! respect xD

  • this is how a porno is started lol

  • That's MY Rifle!

    M1A heavy-barrel in an E2 McMillan

  • Beautiful wepon!

  • @Marine17inlove Well, I HAVE a real M14, selector switch and all. Yes, it IS legally ownable, at least here in WI. I don't fire it too often, don't want it to wear out and don't wanna attract too much attention.

  • @FIFA07Addicted Soviet weapons are still made of cheap, shitty parts. The M14 is, by military definition, an assault rifle, even though it fires the big boy round, and it was carefully designed and all parts cut and machined to precision. Look at the action of a '47, and you'll notice that there's a lot of free play between parts.

Oh and since when do 'spray-n-pray' and 'accuracy' go together?

Also, 7.62x54R isn't necessarily more powerful than the N.A.T.O. round.

  • @kuhn19 I've fired an M14, a regular rifle style stock M14, in fully automatic. All you gotta do was had your arm 90 degree, or perpendicular, off your hip, and bay all cost, ALL COST, try and pull the barrel downward. Fire the weapon in short burst did hep the accuracy, combines with a short accurate spray of 3, 4, maybe 5 rounds is enough to punch through almost anything.

  • @FIFA07Addicted It IS true. ALL AKs from ALL eras are still made out of shitty, cheap, stamped steel parts. Sure, they're tough and reliable, but I thought you and I had already established that? And there is no underrating a '47's accuracy, because it just ISN'T THERE!!! And incredibly powerfull??? You'd better study up on ballistics before you come and say something like that, because 7.62x39mm doesn't compare to 7.62x51mm N.A.T.O. Get your facts straight, then come talk to me.

  • @kuhn19 lol once again you´re wrong. the M14 cant be compared with an AK47 like I said in my post, and the rounds they fire cant be compared aswell. the M14 is an Automatic Rifle used for precision, and sniping many times. assault rifles are supposed to spray and still have a bit of accuracy. the M16 is the weapon you have to compare to the AK. and the M14 with the Dragunov. which has a more powerful round, 7.62x54. and the AK rounds are more powerful than M16s. in terms of power soviet guns own

  • @kuhn19 of course than you can argue that the dragunov M14 comparison isnt fair, because the dragunov coudlnt be fired automatically, but the "regular" version of the M14 is usually fired in semi-automatic mode, as it is more accurate that way.

  • @FIFA07Addicted A regular M14 was selector firing, whereas a civvies model fires semi only.

  • Less recoil than the rifle stock version.

  • @FIFA07Addicted You're displaying a Soviet Sickle and Hammer. That tell me all I need to know about YOU.

If you wanna start throwing political names around, that's fine by me, Commie.

And that was Vietnam. 40-some years ago. AKs might be tough, but that's all they really have, there's no quality to them. American weapons all the way. I'll outshoot you with my own M14 against your shitty AK rifles any day.

  • @kuhn19 Come on man, we don't speak languages with those communist piece of shits. We speak with 'em by leads and flat polymer.

  • @Marine17inlove like you did in vietnam? oh yeah you crapped your pants and ran away thats right. and never had the balls to attack the soviets, pussies.

  • @FIFA07Addicted Oh, really, we were the only unit that survive the war almost being without a cut, asshole. Fuck off communist piece of shit.

  • @Marine17inlove I meant the USA as whole, not you personally. and the marines are soldiers like any others in the US. you obey orders from above, and you get brainwashed to think that a communist is some sort of psychopatical anti-christ.

  • @FIFA07Addicted We do not hate russian, we do not hate any of the North or South Vietnamese. But indeed I do hate communist. I am a Saigon born south Vietnamese. And I DO live in Vietnam. And I will tell you something : Communist was really a son of a bitch.

But I also gonna tell ya something, if that Lyndon B Johnson-of-a-bitch didn't send us Marines to 'Nam like that, there wouldn't be a war going on, and by that, the NVA could have come & start a war, & we would just have to keep peace.

  • @FIFA07Addicted We were Marines, assholes. And we fight wars with guns and munitions. We don't fight for seats. We don't fight for tickets. And yet we ain't no general asshole who work for goddamn politicians.

  • @kuhn19 lol no just no, you know thats not true. and both cold war era and modern AK´s are quality, they´re reliable, tough and incredibly powerful. and their accuracy is underrated. no M14 can compete with an AK as an assault rifle. the M16 can.

  • I have always read that the M-14 was uncontrollable under full-auto fire, but doesn't seem to be the case here....and I would think a compensator would help keep muzzle rise down....I got to shoot a buddy's M-1 in .308.... a big, clunky rifle....

  • wow that recoil looks totally controllable

  • pistol grips look gay on the M14

  • @jwat072 guns arent all about looks... and dont call things gay unless you see two guys sucking eachothers dicks... if not it makes no sense :D

  • Dear Santa........

  • i thinks ita bm59

  • I DON'T WANT NO TEENAGE QUEEN, I JUST WANT MY EM FOURTEEN

  • @skaterofcb It's not MY fault that commie rifles suck.

  • @kuhn19 ahahaha dont make me laugh retard the AK is better than any american rifle. no wonder why the americans always grabbed AK47s in vietnam whenever they could. but you´re a republican so I wont ask much from your intellect.

  • @FIFA07Addicted Go act like a douche elsewhere. Nobody cares about your crappy AK-47. If you had approached it differently instead of acting like an asshole I'm sure you would have gotten different responses from everyone.

  • I want that rifle. How did you aquire this?

  • OO HOO

  • 11 AK-47s didn't like being out-performed by the M14. :)

  • @kuhn19 just stop

  • nothin like a hill billy

  • wow modded controller

  • @ghostavenger1988 wow, video game reference. cant watch real vids without at least 1

  • $10 worth of ammo in a couple seconds!

    :)

  • @CanadianReich Hey. Still ten big ones well spent.

  • I don't see how an M-14 ( EBR/ whatever ) could be heavier than an M-16 variant with a 203 stuck on it or how the M-14 variant could be any heavier than a 240 etc. I was expecting way more muzzle climb in the video. I wonder how many surplus M-14s or taking up space in government armories. Considering their shortlived service life several of them are most likely in better shape than the majority of issued M16 variants. At least they had enough sense to field some of them.

  • @oeyesea If I am not mistaken, some m14s were sold off to police depts in the 60s after the adoption of the m16. Some remaining in govt stock were destroyed in the 70s, and the Clinton administration sold/gave away some more to the Croatians and the Haitians in the 90s. I guess there are still enough around to rearsenal and press into service, plus I imagine that some are being manufactured again for the Govt or perhaps just the parts.

  • I want one!!

First semi-auto rifle im gonna get is a M-14.

  • @The1FastGP You are only gonna get a semi auto rifle

  • @thskater Fine with me, i love this rifle.

  • what states can you have fully automatic weapons

  • @KoTORfAN3 i think texas is the only state

  • @bigpig1900 I thought new mexico and nevada could too? i might be wrong though

  • sure that isn't airsoft......

  • the only thing m16 has over m14 is m16 is a lot easier to clean if you ask me

  • Thats a M-14E2 the Light machine gun variant of the m-14

  • @Anthrax92007 how do you know its just not a full auto m14 with a different stock?

  • @1airplane21

I don't. But, it has the correct stock, bipod, vertical grip and flash hider, so I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that it is.

  • @Anthrax92007 the stock could also be a dmr stock

  • @Anthrax92007 Not to be a Smart ass but it was "officially" designated M14A1 in 1966. M14E2 was its experimental designation in 1963. That's what the E stands for ;-)

  • I'd like to know were he got that Beauty...It is gorgeous

  • @Anthrax92007 thats why it has the pistol grip

  • ok I was really confused for a second.. after a quick search I'm guessing this is an M14A1 (the pistol grip really threw me off.. I almost thought it was a BAR for a second)

  • @DaFlyinSkwirl How did you confuse with BAR? The BAR doesn't have a pistol grip either.

  • wow...is this a DMR? I noticed not a bad recoil to it.

  • recoil control!!!

  • @isajeep is that a lmg stock?

  • in the 60's, I had a toy one of these. operated on batteries. what's the deal with the handle this guy is using?

  • Drool....

  • Now that, is a proper gun with a proper calibre!

    7.62 beats 5.56 by a long shot!

  • i think you can convert most semi auto fire arms to fully automatic. but its about the sear release i think not the spring.

  • @boobsmaster the M14 is an Automatic firearm to begin with anyway...

  • @BARRACULA94 not all of them! it could be said that the semi auto one is just an M1A but still.

  • nice control of that weapon

  • OOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH. That makes a nice sound.

  • Gssssss Gorgeousssssssss...

  • Explain how i'm wrong

  • @afroman452 While it depends on the gun, you need generally need different, bolts, trigger/selector groups, auto-seers, and firing pins, as well as whatever other odd parts particular guns may need. A spring doesn't do anything except return the bolt to it's rest position. Swapping it out would only change the speed at which the bolt moves during a single cycle, but it can't make a gun fire full-auto.

  • dude you can convert any gun to full auto all you do is take out a certain spring

  • @afroman452 you really no nothing about guns do you?

  • fag u have a modded controller...=D

  • Cool!

  • I wonder if you can convert a M14 semi into auto? hmmm Well, I guess, If not, Ill just pull the trigger really fast....right? lol

  • @somedirtyangel A full auto conversion? Physically, yes if you know what you're doing and can get your hands on the parts. Legally, no.

  • @somedirtyangel or bump fire

  • It's like BAR :D

  • @Estonianboy123 other than a bar is 7.62x54 or 30-06 well this is 7.62x51 or .308

  • @armypenguin Ok smartass, but apparance of BAR is very similar of this rifle

  • @Estonianboy123 I don't think so.

  • I loved my m14 both in "tha stan and raq".Mine was a semi that was fine m4/16's are pee shooters.

  • How are you keeping muzzle rise down. I have an M1A and it really like to climb in Semi-Auto.

  • @DobermansRock There is a front grip.

  • @mobius1aic True but man they still like to climb because of the stock design. I see your point though it does add a bit more control. Check out the JAE-100 stock. Awsome but they want a paycheck for it. Its the cure for many of this rifles problems.

  • thats a beautiful sound

  • the beginning sounds like Lt. Kerrigan from starcraft

  • @pze94 ahaha ur right man lol

  • The stock is an original USGI E2 stock. It was issued with the rifles that remained full-auto. Check out my other videos at azskidotcom here on Youtube. Bill (The shooter in this video) I have one that shows me shootng the same weapon with the standard USGI stock. I wish I had kept that weapon! I sold it a while back along with all my other company full-auto weapons when I closed my FFL/SOT shop.

  • too bad the military uses the m-16 more, this gun would save more lives

  • Makes you ask why the M14 got replaced by the M16.

  • @LOLNOOBCAKES A couple reasons actually, ones the weight, the M14 is about 4 pounds heavier unloaded, .308s are twice the price of .223s...and theres something else about field stripping but I'm not sure

  • @R5H4D0W Yea I know, even though the M16 is lighter, it jammed more and the soldiers wern't used to it as much as the m14. Tell me if, I'm wrong.

  • @LOLNOOBCAKES M16s jamming is news to me :)

I've never seen or heard of jams with proper cleaning...but places like Iraq or anywhere with alot of sand generally I'd say it might be likely. Dunno, I've personally never seen a comparison between the two according to failure rates

  • u.s. army shoulda stuck with this rifle instead of the m16, much better of a gun

  • @DodgeViperACRX well its a pretty long gun not really for CQB, but i totally agree with you if they use the gun mainly for field. its so accurate and it uses a big ass round

  • @devildiver6411 m16 is a long rifle, thats why only the marines use it now. everyone else uses the m4, but the m16 is better than the m4, and the M14 is better than the m16

  • @DodgeViperACRX How so with a person's skill any gun can just be as good. All guns have their flaws is just all im saying and its just up to the owner on how to use it, where to use it, and when to use it.All guns break, rust, and jam without cleaning it either way im pretty sure almost all guns are on the same level depending on what class like a rifle or carbine or pistol.

  • @DodgeViperACRX i dunno. its too overpowered and heavy to be a standard weapon, but it should have been retained a little more than it is now.

  • @DodgeViperACRX is better ,but is also heavyer and longer than the m16,and the ammo too ..is heavy,it's a awsome weapon but not for an entire army...

  • @DodgeViperACRX if only it were that simple

  • @DodgeViperACRX so ur saying the m14 that weighs more, has more expensive ammo, less reliable, and an old design should be our rifle still? the m16 loaded weighs around 8 pounds while the m14 weighs about 15 pounds loaded because of the wooden body and the heavy cast barrel. m16 is shorter and has a faster ROF.

  • @sweetswantonbombs

    Less Reliable?

    Don't think so.

I don't buy this "which one is better" fanboy crap.

They are different weapons for different purposes.

The M-14 is essentially a specialist weapons platform where as the M-16 platform is so universally adaptable there are variations for every need (usually passable performance as DM, LMG)

The M-14 is really only viable as a DM or LMG, the M-16 fills the middle ground of what the M-14 can't do. They are both excellent weapons, just different.

  • @PrepSurvivor Direct impingement is still crap.

  • @baronofcheese

    Indeed it is.

    This is fact.

  • @PrepSurvivor Well said..

  • @PrepSurvivor At least some one gets it. thank you sir.

  • @PrepSurvivor hmmm.....

  • @PrepSurvivor It strikes me that the effective range and penetration power of the M14 is superior to M16.

M14 would be particularly better suited to desert warfare, in the bald open topography in Central Asia, or in the long range 3 dimensional gun battles from city high rises down to street level.

M16 variants ought to be the odd man out specialty weapon, for close contact assaults.

  • @DodgeViperACRX you're right, this a rifle with a bigger round, more acurate and easy to use !!!

  • such an amasing and unique weapon. totaly better than the ebr inmy opinion. but everyone likes different styles of guns and it realy depends on whos using it i guess lol

  • Oh shit, Zipperhead with an M14, let's get to running fellas.

  • werent m14 eventually set to single shot due to heavy recoil?

  • @shankapottamas

no, but there's a switch for single shot

  • Great shooting! i would probably fail miserably.

  • Holy Fuck!

  • Look how much the operatpr benefits from a forward grip. Assuming that is firing the 7.62 round, there is very little recoil when compared to the original M14. Could have had a greater service length if they came with one originally

  • LOVE the M14. I don't care too much for the AR-10 or AR-15 variants, though I like the 416 and 417, but the classic rifles are the best. M1918, Garand, M14...

  • the pistol grip and the fore grip reduced the recoil.

  • i was like holy shit y duznt it have any kick then i realized ti was an E2 stock

  • The M-14 is to me the greatest killing tool.

  • There is no way that thing is shooting rifle rounds. Way too little recoil.
