I think Newt has now realized that he probably shouldn't have been so vocal about his stance on repealing child labor laws. Guess a lot of people googled "child labor" and did not like what they saw because, unlike Newt, most people have a soul!
@hellsunicorn We all become wrapped up in what we THINK we know, and we create ideas that SEEM axiomatic. I fully realize that epistomological limits; however, it requires monumental self deception to believe in a candidate like Ron Paul and in his chances to win. As stupid as you think S. Carolinians are, they can still apply the axiom "I don't need to put my hand in a fire to know it will be burned." Thusly, they know, for good reasons, Ron Paul has zero chances. What process do you use?

i dont get it.newt demanded romney release his tax returns.his reasoning was that he's protecting the party should mitt become the nominee, and this was an issue that should be resolved now.yet he dodged the question of his infidelity cause its dirty politics.if obama attacks him on this issue, newt will lose.romney lost to mccain he cant win, santorum is a fucking idiot.that leaves 1
@Tsicar Well, we got a pretty heavy dose of it during the first half hour of the debate tonight, and Newt looked pretty flustered. His retardation is definitely being challenged by mittens.
@n9athan Yeah, but I didn't like how nearly 50% of the people who voted in South Carolina were dumb enough to believe that he actually addressed the topic.
@thefreedomartist I would agree to you but you are discounting Gingrich's ego which has already been stroked due to his decisive victory in SC. If you paid close attention earlier Gingrich looked like a VP candidate when he polls were so low but when he ascended he completely abandoned that and starting going for gold. Also, I believe Gingrich took to heart the millions spent on attack ads against him in Iowa so I think its just about straight up vengeance now.
@LDub01031994 yes, just watched the latest debate, and it was the newt vs mitt show...gotta love those egos flyin about...wish they would kill off each other...
...i was diappointed in Paul's performance...not that the media gave him any opportunity whatsoever to look strong, as he was treated as an afterthought, really demeaning for Paul I bet.
but his handlers need to encourage him to breathe fire and truth with a passion...he's got to be at his very best, nothing else will do.
In fact, thinking about it if some1 like Rubio endorses a candidate that may be enough to put Romney or Gingrich in first. Also there is the issue with a lot of absentee ballots already put it that are probably going mostly to Romney. In the end it will go to whoever has momentum in the debates I believe.
Great video. I am floridian and my dad and I were talking about this. Usually Florida would bandwagon on the current front-runner, but in this case there is not one. I know for sure North Florida (bunch of hicks) will go to Gingrich. Southern Florida where I live will go to Romney since a lot of people from the NE live here. There is pretty good Paul support here but don't expect much unfortunately :/
lmao... I dont know why I find it so funny when you mention people that like to "out Jesus" each other. I've always secretly wished that Jesus would show back up and beat a few of them senseless with a baseball bat live on CNN.
@DrDissent The hard part would be figuring out who's ass Jesus would kick first, the sanctimonious serial monogamist with 2 marriages that were improperly ended by biblical standards (in the case of adultery, the guilty party is not supposed to be granted a second marriage by any legitimate church) or the warmongering psychopath (who whips his Jesus out every chance he gets yet hates the golden rule, the sermon on the mount, and any of David's psalms that denounce war).
well done, i appreciate the multi-faceted approach...have you considered the concept of Newt merely being a spoiler of Paul, with Newt's eventual softening toward Mitt, and casting his weight, and endorsement to him at a fortuitous time, thus squashing Paul? I don't wholly buy into Newt's seriousness to seek the Presidency, for the very reasons you mention...so could it be that Mitt and Newt, along with Santorum are merely working together to kill off Paul? A little "out there", I know,... but??
@thefreedomartist It's not outside the realm of possibility, but the likelihood of it is skewed a bit by the fact that it creates an unpredictable situation. What if Newt or Mitt alienates each others' supporters from each other so much that they are confused on who to vote for? If there is a concerted effort to do this, it's not without risk of backfire.
@hellsunicorn ...you're right i think, and even if Newt threw in the towel and gave it all to Mitt, it would have to be done shortly after Florida, or else the unpredictability factor only gains momentum...anyway, well done, i will be watching florida and further on down the line...good luck to you, thefreedomartist

@moonandmist You do realize that those two utterly despised the Roman Catholic Church and were viewed by said Church as being heretics, right?
Seriously, learn your history before speaking, you sound as idiotic as Newt Gingrich.

@n9athan That's what he claims. Kind of like me claiming that I'm the King of Norway.

@hellsunicorn Yes, I cant figure out if the majority of republicans in South Carolina are stupid or dumb.

that last debate struck me as Romney attacking Obama, Santorum and Gingrich attaing Romney and Paul staying on message. I like that dynamic.
