I think it will backfire on The McCain camp if they try to make a big deal out of Obama knowing Ayers. Ayers was a Vietnam war protester that bombed the pentagon when Obama was 8 years old. Obama never met the man until 30 yrs later. Ayers is a professor now at the U of IL. The Mayor of Chicago ( who now calls Ayers a "good citizen of Chicago") put them together on some education projects. That's how Obama knows him. A hospital reported 11 kids dropped out just Satuday Oct 4. One man dropped off 9 kids age 1 - 16. These people do not want these kids.
