@sarahelizabethasher I must agree. This is a very identifiable mushroom, but it is not considered good, it is just edible. It was my first to try in the wild and it was not good!
i just found some of these and they smell like blueberries to me. i thought i was just fooling myself into thinking they actually smelled "blue". so i can eat these but there's no magic in them?
@losfreddy hey, ive taken this a few times, in the past 6 years and i jsut recently got some again and read up, on some site it says their grown in eastern north america, i live in eastern NA, would u happen to know where exactly grow?
They certainly grow in Kentucky.

Edible but not choice, as my mother would say. They aren't the best flavored of the lactarius, in my opinion.

@losfreddy I can confirm they are edible. They probably taste like heaven too if they are like the other lactarius. No psilocybin though , sorry :(
