I just played the demo. The speech output sounds as if someone cut the recording into a dozen pieces and then scrambled them. I wouldn't know what they are saying if there was no text.

Though...in the full game, you MAY want to make certain skills a bit more obvious. It took me FOREVER to remember about the combining skills bit.

@Bdeusenberry use Scootaloo's temporary flight to get the apple picture, use the hammer on the apple picture, use the resulting apple on the workbench, use applebloom to buck the apple outside, and use sweetie belle's singing to get the crow that snatches it to give you the key

I hope to see lots of jokes inserted into this. Some of the best parts of those old Lucas Arts games were using the wrong solution and watching all the ridiculous results from it.

I can't help but think of many badly made games when people mention this genre. They either give you only one possible way of doing everything with no extras or ability to be creative, or the chance of messing up at all. Then there's the ones that think "more challenging" means making all objects really tiny so that you can't even click them when you try to.

However, this looks quite promising. Giving us 3 characters with different abilities instantly shows this game will actually have strategy.
