those loose shimmmer powders with the weird shaped bottle i usually just tip it over and tap a lil out as i go like inside the lid or i bought these little teeny tiny tupperware things at the dollar tree and i usually at some in there a nd use it that way. ive tried to break them open so i can dump them in my lil tupperware things but they are hard as hell to break open.

I have some of the loose powder LA Colors shimmer and I throw the lil brushes away that come with them and when I want to use it, I just take the top of it and pour the loose shadow into the top and then apply it to my eye and when im done I hold it over the sink and dump it back in,

stab something like a pen into the bottom and pop the plastic piece off the bottom of the L.A colors loose shimmer powders to depot them. it's kind of a pain and you lose a little of the product, but it still works.

Nice review I love dollar tree but yea it's worth a dollar only can get so much u can eather pop this little platic lid off in side of it(hard)and mess or use a brush eyeshow thing not the spunjie thing u know them one u can throw away

i baught a bunch of those loose shadows from L.A. colors and i didnt like the brushes either so i got rid of the brush and i just shake the container upside down and then get the product out of the lid when i want to use it. that way you can use whatever brushes you want. great haul btw :)

ok what i did was i bought an elf defing eye brush and i shanke it up and down so it gets in the funnel and then i pick it up with the brush and aply it it works for all of them and the elf brushes are ony $1 at dolar genaral

What I do is I take a hammer to containers like those and normally the bottom will kinda break off, of course you have to be very careful. But put the pigment into another container afterwords.

I saw fellow UTuber poke out the bottom of the LA shimmer jar. You need to transfer to a 20 size container.

Look around YouTube in De-potting LA colors shimmer. Maybe you'll find it.

I just brought sunshine and honeysuckle.

And you are so correct on the brushes, they are FUNKY !! Not even worth putting in the jar.

There are a couple of videos on how to depot them and you do so by taking off the bottom of the jars :)

I'm going to be depoting mine tomorrow for sure !

hey, girl, i know how to depot them , what you do is get a tool, like a grip pliers, break the edge of the bottom all around and the bottom will come off, shake all shadow into another container and use a eyeshadow applicator, that brush is awful, you will get more of the color, and its really pretty, especially the gold, extremely metallic.

i use to think that too until i stared doing it.

people do because you save money and not everyone can afford mac makeup and even things like revlon but at dollar stores the sometimes have revlon and stuff cheaper than other places and the cheaper makeup like la colors suprised me in pigment and smells good.youd be suprised what you can find.

i have lollypop and i depotod mine and so i took the brush out and the i put the eyeshadow upside down and i had a pan and i took a butterkinf and hit it the bodoum of the eye sahadow and then whern i filled the pan i sprade it wirh alcohal

King Dollar nothing over $1.09 store keeps alot of L.A. Color items and also carries many other name brand items that i have recently bought and they are great. The eyeshadows i bought are so pigmented, I just love them.

there is a little seam in the bottom. pop them out through there, but they make a HUGE MESS! so put down some wax paper and thenyou can save what you spill!

I depoted mines by taking a tack and popping it through the bottom and pulling the bottom out than I put the pigment into an empty Sallys Girl glitter container I had. But if you do it be careful because if you dont do it right whne you pop the bottom off the pigment will go EVERYWEARS!!

i hated the brush too! so i just put the container in a ziplock bag then hit the side of it with the back of a butter knife and the bottom poped right off then i just pressed it into an old covergirl pan =] hope this helps love!

I got mine in honey suckle and the only way I know how to use any other kind other brush with it is to take the brush out and tap it on the table into a jar and just use as much as you need or I'm sure you could break it into a jar somehow.

i got honey suckle, sunshine, and snow white. i used the sunshine wet, as an eye liner and its amazing! i also got a physicians formula eye shadow stick in sand. and fiery glimmer and out loud orange in the lip gloss'. i love them all! iam heading to sephora today and iam gonna hit up the redondo store on the way.

i have the same stuff! i didn't like the brushes they came with either they were crap!

so i took them outt then i dumped them upside down and let the color into the cap then i opend it up- upside down. it worked for me, && i didn't put the brush back in well hope i helped you!

I'm hoping that our dollar store will get different ones very very soon. I've heard good things, so I'm hoping it's just that one palette and not the brand as a whole. I'll find a different palette and give it a shot. :)

Yeah, I'd stay away from the 12 color palettes as they aren't very pigmented, but the six color palettes aren't bad. The best so far that I've seen though in that brand are the single loose eyeshadows.

These are very easy to depot,the bottom comes off with a little prying.Mullins2day has two videos on how to do this,The secound video I offered another way to depot these.Just don't poke yourself!

Im glad you said the 12 shadow pallet didnt have much pigment, I have bought one yet, but was thinking about it, just didnt find one with the bright colors I liked, now I will not. :0)

I've not tried their brands. I see them every time I go to the dollar tree but I haven't been brave enough to try them yet. Next trip I'll try to remember to pick up at least a couple items from them and let you know what I think. :)

The Aziza makeup line is ok,the eyeshadows have a fair pigment,they do fade.But,they are great for experimenting with color.

Yeah, I've had several girls writing to me, lamenting the fact that they don't have these items where they live. One girl suggested I pick up some more and sell them to girls who don't have them in their areas. I think that might be a good idea as I was recently laid off and would love to have a little bit of money coming in until I can find a new job. I'd have to charge a little more then what I bought them for of course to make up for the gas fee and shipping fees. Hmmm... Might be an idea?

You're welcome, hun. Just remember to use primer before putting on the color. I used primer on my hand and arm before applying the color swatches so that it would show up their true color. If you don't use primer these colors are going to look really washed out and faded.

Yeah, the best way to make your colors pop is to prime your eyes. I put primer on my hand and arm before applying the color swatches to show their true color. The best primer you can get on the market today is Urban Decay Primer Potion. Also you can use a stick concealer. And there is a trick that some makeup artists use (now this won't last very long, but works well if you are just going out for a couple of hours)- apply a very VERY thin layer of Vaseline to the eyelid before applying color.
