Im guilty of not using the logic synths reason being when i used cubase i had lots of third party synths i bought and i just carried on using them in logic however im currently using Logic ESM in a project which is a great bass synth.
I've recently got a Duet and I'm about to get a genelec pair 8030s. How did you connect it? It seems like it would need another amplifier 'cause of the -10dB on the Duet's output, is it right? Thank for your help!

Ive used/own both cubase & logic and theres not a track i could make in one that i couldn't make in the other so i see no benefit in swappping.
I swapped from PC to Mac sometime ago as Mac then allowed me to run more memory.
The Duet is superb great conversion and Pre-amps and most of all easy to use.
