@Bobjove Nothing was done ? Many nationalites ( US, Canadians, Englisch, Polisch, French and many others ) young man and woman gave their lives to liberate us ( Europe , and the world ) from the Nazis !!!
@begijnenstraat US joined the war in 1944 that's 5 years after it started and by that time almost entire europe was taken over. and for us belgians there was the 'flamenpolitik' meaning we didn't suffer as much. also the german technology was way to advanced for most allied troops to face them (use of unmanned rockets) and that in combination with propagande actually made many men of invaded countries join german forces
@spermwaste Hello Belgium, maybe your'e right.....but in the end the Germans lost the war, didn't they ? And the US soldiers ( not the politicians and strategics ), lost their lives ( the Ardens )....
Also young Germans soldiers ofcourse...sad but true...
And Hitler and Geubbels and the others made a terrible mess . I think....

Polish cavalry did not attack tanks. Horse was used for transportation. This should be corrected.And Germans as Russian also had cavalry units.
