I ended up hearing it fine after the beginning. Maybe my sound card is set to some kind of funny surround??

Anyway I love how he uses the ride to create the 3/4 feel. And I love the chorus of only clave. they're awesome.

Yeah ... sometimes the clips don't seem to load properly and for this music it's really important. My guess is that it was probably a Youtube hick-up
