@dustinngo0629 If he didn't take any damage....it wouldn't matter what mode he was playing in. In regards to the enemies one faces, Hero Mode only changes the amount of damage they cause, not their competence or fighting style. Either way, he did excellent not to get touched.

demise was easier on hero mode. i did him first try didnt take a hit. hero mode was much better play through for me enjoyed it soo much. being told i take double damage made me pay more attention to the game and swinging the sword at enemies. first ghiriham was the toughest because only had 6 hearts and a crap shield. this game is soo fucking good though.

@36Diggaroo94 it is easy too easy, i stocked up load of potions health ++ thinking it will be a bitch to beat. i did it first try no damage took. what you do . 1st phase slash horizontal one way so he blocks and quicky throw it opposite way . left to right then quick right to left . takes longer but much safer. and next phase. let him rush at you jump back and he misses you and as he lightning charge quickly do yours. bish bash bosh.

@Funcuber Demise and Ganondorf are the same person, Ganondorf is the reincarnation of demise, note that after the fight he says something similar to " I will be reincarnated, and wreak havoc on the world once more". This isn't exactly what he says, but it's close enough. His face is also extremely similar to Ganondorf's. The Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf in many LoZ games, are the same people, each reincarnated. Zelda is the Goddess, Link is the Chosen One, and Ganon is demise.

But no, they change a bit in the beginning and then nothing else. And no alternate ending for hero mode.... seriously? And what a huge let down fighting demise. The build up climax to his fight is amazing and then when you fight him you are like, ok so I just beat a black bokoblin...where is demise? ...oh wait

Yeah, demise is laughably easy to beat. I beat hero mode too. Skyward sword is harder then past zelda games, but it is still incredibly easy to beat. Sigh. I really want nintendo to make a challenging zelda game for once. The dungeons were also way too linear making the locked doors a moot point (with the exception of the last dungeon which was not linear and fantastic). Seriously just get an infused guardian potion and your invincible. Howcome Demise can't use bottles? Game is Childs play

The dungeons were pretty smart designed this time around, especially the Lanayru Mining Facility and the Sky Keep.

@Sawtje2 the dungeons are linear meaning their is only one way to beat them. It was like see a lock door in front of you, move right and fight a boss to get a key, open lock door and continue. The last dungeon could be beat several different ways, some faster than others. I wish all the dungeons were designed similarly. In my opinion the dungeons in oot and mm were better. However I agree with you that lanayru mining facility was good. Although they still could have made it FAR better.

2. I didn't know you could Skyward Strike at the 2nd phase. Stupid Fi fucking lied to me.

@EvilApple567 Technically it's not a Skyward Strike though. Skyward Strike uses divine/holy energy that's built up in the sword. But the evil energy generated by Demise prevents the divine energy from shining through. As a result, you have to use the blade as a lightning rod to "steal Demise's thunder."

I can do the first Battle Perfectly, once you strike him the pattern is very easy, Strike-Block-Block,Strike-Bloc­k-Block,and repeat until he stops attacking or you simply knocked him to the floor and started the second Cycle

He's actually really easy to hit using the parry once you know his patterns and timing. 2nd time through, I got his first stage beat in one parry chain, which knocks him on his ass after 5-6 blocks in a row if you manage to make him stagger. Once he's on the floor, it's simple to get the last few hits in to finish that stage. 2nd stage is the same, cept for using Skyward Strike. If you get unlucky with the lightning, just backflip as he reaches you with his rush-attack to avoid damage :)
