  • Curious. What do you consider bad laws?

  • Sorry Ian, you are wrong about speeding. I do not like the increasing police state, but someone needs to monitor the actions of dangerous drivers. Speed does kill and your "freedom" to drive as you wish makes the road more dangerous for those you share it with. If you want to drive 200 mph on your own property, go for it. But when my precious children are out there, I expect some civility and speeding is uncivil... although admittedly many speed limits are arbitrarily low to generate revenue...

  • thank god you crazy hippie anarchists aren't in control

  • i absolutely hate cops here in michigan. there has only been one cop that has been decent here. absolutely horrible.

  • unless you grow your own on somehow get it from califona for medical use how do you not know somewere along the line of you getting someone was not killed or robbed or what ever for you to have it

  • @swatcapt11 You have a very valid point.

Short of home/locally grown there really is no way to know if someone has been harmed or killed somewhere along the chain of supply.

In fact, considering how much of the illegal drug trade is run by criminals it's actually quite likely that someone was harmed.

This is not a problem with cannabis though. This is a problem with prohibition.

End prohibition and it becomes as likely for someone to be harmed in the cannabis trade as in the beer trade.

  • i like how the cop metions the rudeness of the cops while PDs may have regulations on being rude or swearing there is nothing unlawfully about this i metion this because i saw a video of an actives that was doing something to get attion and the cops came and the guy would not be quite and the cop told him to shut the fuck up and he got mad that the cop told him that even though he called the cop a fucking pig. You say that there is no victum for weed and other drugs how can you prove this

  • So what should be done about speeding? Hope and pray nobody speeds? The honor system? Wait untill some asshole crashes his Mustang into a minivan, killing mom and her kids, and then charge the asshole because there is a victim now? Your system has several flaws. Implementation is the big one.

  • @400lbGuerrilla People want to travel safely in their cars. That doesn't mean we need an army of revenue collectors threatening and extorting people on the highways. The answer is to allow private road owners to set the rules.

Search for the Market for Liberty. It will answer a lot of your questions.

  • @obscuredtruth I have a general understanding of your philosophy. Basically Anarcho-Capitalism. What I fear is that a powerful faction or factions will arise and replace the State resulting in perpetual conflict. Even more than today.

  • @obscuredtruth Private road owners to set the rules? Absolutely not. We as people generally have OUR best intentions at mind, not the overall population. Police generally have the overall populations best intentions.

  • @400lbGuerrilla they don't have speed limits in germany on the (autobahn) and it's proven they have less vehicle accidents than the us freeways. plus the war on drugs is a waste of money... prohibition doesn't work.

  • @grishor1470 it is also more difficult to obtain a drivers license in Germany. standards are much higher there than in the U.S. here in the U.S., a monkey could pass a drivers test. hell, some do! more dumb drivers, more fatality accidents. simple. furthermore, if you want to use dope legally, move to Amsterdam. It will not be legal in the U.S. anytime soon, if at all. the voters in California proved that recently. sorry...

  • @400lbGuerrilla the feds pumped a lot of money against prop 19... they have an unlimited supply of fiat money.

  • @400lbGuerrilla California did NOT vote against legal cannabis. They voted against the law proposed.

MANY people opposed to prohibition voted NO on 19 because of the proposed law.

To mention just one I know personally, a NO vote because though they see the many benefits of legitimising the cannabis trade, they were a member of MADD and didn't like the idea of legalising it without a reliable way of testing for cannabis intoxication at the roadside.

No doesn't necessarily mean no in this case.

  • This is a well produced series of video.

By the way, I find the audio volume through out the video at a good and appropriate level.

  • The music is too loud on the video. I am very interested in what you are saying but find the music really distracting.

  • I do like what is said at the end here. Because of bad laws officers find themselves in the situation of having to enforce a bad law and yet they get the wrap for it. When in turn people are blaming the wrong people. However things like speeding and smoking a joint, people call in and complain about these things all the time, so what are officers suppose to do. It's not like they ignore bigger crimes, they clock speeders when they arn't doing anything else.

  • they have no legitamacy if everything they do is backed by the threat of violence...or a gun

  • they don't investigate themselves in this country.....cops actions are almost always justified...there is no consequence for any of their actions & when the people fight their tyranny they pile on charges, steal your money or just kill you

  • Impressive low light shooting

  • As always. great work Sam and Ian!

  • didja sell your house yet?

  • keep up the good work, OTN. love your videos!
