Thanks moose. on a recent ringing outing to west yorkshire, i was taught the first 16 changes of this method as bell no. 4. I am a novice, and this was the first method i ever rung as a bell ringer. thanks for answering my questions.
Yes Dunford is on the Dartmoor Changes CD. We used the local band for that one:-) The Buckfast vid uses the Dartmoor changes sound track - that was fun as I didn't expect to have to use it so it's sync'd off Hosannas first strike. Hopefully it'll be on in the next few days.
Closed handstroke method ringing has huge potential for wraps;-)
I was surprised by the sound sync :-) Watch out for Buckfast Abbey (when I can find the tapes). I shall try to get all the Devon Twelves over the next few months.
Is this six on the Dartmoor Changes set of CDs? I have the set, would love to see Buckfast. I love call changes with no open handstroke, the potential for beautiful music is much greater, but when i drop it in people whinge!

These are using a special technique to create every time a new combination of the bells. But all are only rang ones every round. I like this video.

were you wearing earplugs to get this video so close to the bells?

Unfortunately not. It was a little uncomfortable.

Clear
Nice bells
Good ringing
And best of all, on the video the clapper blows match up to the sound instead of being distorted
