It's alright. Doesn't blow me away. To be honest, none of the tablets on the market today have really grabbed my attention. To me a tablet is a bastard child between a laptop and smartphone. I want to see tablets with more power and more applications.... Or maybe I just want a powerful laptop with 10+ hours of battery and a touchscreen.

This is probably going to be the first competitor to the iPad 2 (or iPad); HP are controlling both hardware and software, so they've got the best chance. The interactions with the interface look a bit sluggish though.

If they hadnt open sourced it, there would be no competition and you wouldnt be able to see this almost exponential drop in prices even though the technology itself is becoming more advanced. Really interested in buying one,

Currently have the iPad which had been great till I got my iPhone 4 and now not used to it's full potential,

My brother will be purchasing which ever tablet comes out on top with Android 3.0,

I am torn between the iPad 2, Blackberry Playbook and the HP WebOS Tablet,

Personally I will lean more towards the HP and Apple tablet as I own a few hardware from both companies...

Business work should be hard on the iPad due to lack of notifications (other than the bubble you see after you turn the display on if someone messages you a facebook. The BB playbook I'm gonna guess is not that fluid, but it's a powerful business tool mainly made for work (wierd name for it) and I'm waiting for the samsung tab 8.9

I dont know.. but just seeing how trends are going I dont think this is gonna be that successful. But everyone is free to do what they want and its finally nice to have choices. Best luck to all these companies. Ultimately it'll be grabbing marketshare so making these affordable and not just impressive is going o be a big factor. Snapdragon is impressive. ARM has seem to become the new Intel.

I have an Android powered HTC and I am completely sold! I wouldn't dare switch to an iPhone or iPad. I have an HP laptop and now I have something to look forward to when this reaches my hands! All of my iPhone friends are p.o'd because I have apps they don't have access to and really wish they had. I'm in love with this....completely!

In defence of Android, there are now more apps then ever on it. Androlib statistics show that there is now over 250,000 apps on the android. Some may dispute this by saying it's mostly crappy apps however a lot of sites have found out that the number of NEW apps for it have tripled since september last year. Developers are beginning to switch to Android.

I love Android because it's fully customizable, and you don't always need to root, witch is Android equivalent of jailbreak. but iOS has a lot more apps, I have to agree with that.

I love how at the end of the video you can easily see all the flows of the web os:

1.Very unintuitive - the reviewer cant figure out how to operate the device by using common sense.(see en of video)

2. Touch screen lags and is irresponsive!

3. All that power 1.2gz processor and you still do not get "snappy" experience when multitasking.

HP has a lot of catching up to do with the crisp IOS;)

Bleh. The touch features are VERY sluggish and sometimes non-responsive. It's a nice first try, but it seems to lack the fluidity of the iPad.

There are several times in the video where the device seems to be working like a dog to keep up with the human's finger.
