I don't know what NATO are planning for Algeria but seeing what is happened in Libya and given the huge currency reserve that Algeria has, I wouldn't be surprised to see some bankers being tempted, there is also the oil and Gas which Algeria is a major producer... another bonus.

Having said that, I believe that attacking Algeria would be ill advised and represents a danger for Europe and France in particular who has a very large immigrant community from Algeria and the Maghreb.
