You can't compare this to a Ford Escape... Land Rovers are the best vehicles off road with proper capability, all other brands compromise in some way (Land Cruiser aside). When I have to tackle mud or snow I'd want one of these.

actually, the LR2 will not come with the "rock" setting on its terrain respoce system.

all Range LM (since 2002) do have air suspension, as far as i know even the older ones do have it.
