  • Miss my 335xi but I definitely enjoy my 135i a bit more ;)

  • My dream car is a 535xi...that'll happen.

  • nice sound

  • meh we got a 330i and is moving underway of the A7....bye bye BMW was an amazingly fun car which never complained :D

  • @tompi88

you can't compare a 330i with an A7 since the A7 costs 3 times more. compared to the A4 or even A6 though....

  • that looks fun! lol!

  • BMW Fucks Audi's & Benz day and night.

  • BMWs are shaped and weighted perfect for handling and they are fast cars. best car company

  • why so much dislikes? bmw haters and audi lovers here ? Go watch audi videos!

  • nice car!

  • love this car, but wud rather have a s5

  • @skillz139 yeah but u cant compare a 335 to a s5....s5 was built to compete with the m3. So if u rather have a s5 over a m3....ok s5 are nice the exterior and interior are nice and has plenty of power but when it comes to taking the road....m3 is always the champ

  • @yogd4life nope...S5 does not compete with the M3. It is the RS4 and RS5 that compete with the M3.

  • @overdrive90 s5 is v8 with over 400+ hp....its in the same class as the m3 and is always compared to it in video reviews and such.

  • @yogd4life You must be confusing the S5 for the RS5. The coupe S5 has the 4.2 V8 from the B7 S4 with 350 hp and the convertible S5 has the supercharged V6 from the B8 S4 with 333 hp. The RS5 that has been released just recently has an all-new 4.2 V8 with 444 hp. The tests you are referring to all put the RS5 against the M3 and other rivals such as the CTS-V and C63 AMG. There is one test however from InsideLine comparing the M3 with the S5 and they even admit that the two cars aren't comparable.

  • @ihci you clearly don't know what you are talking about. The xDrive system is older than Acura itself. Ann anyways, the SHAWD is front wheel biased and xDrive is rear wheel biased, there are more differences which would probably confuse you if I tried to explain them.

  • looks like so much fun

  • Careful, you could bend a rim.

  • it's not subaru impreza ;]

  • why snow? i wanna see tire fire

  • As you can see all wheel drive is not for everyone. Idiot.

  • Hey I'm not a fag i can drive, and still look good..

  • Lets just ride our bicycles

  • not too bad!

  • awesome car

  • you Audi fans should know that Bmw has released the Xdrive back in '84, the first time on a 525ix. google it!

  • no teneis ni puta idea!!! haced un curso de mecanica 4x4 aplicada .

  • finally BMW has copied Audi 30 years later and what, has the cheek to say they are pioneers...please.

  • @range206 lol BMW copied Audi because BMW decided to produce more lines of all-wheel-drive vehicles?? Why would BMW (or any other reputable car company for that matter) copy Audi/Volkswagen - other than for the luxurious aesthetics?? I've driven both BMW and Audi, and I can tell you this.. measuring the capability of all-wheel-drive alone, Subaru easily takes the cake.

  • ok dude...subaru is on a whole other level with their AWD...no electronic gadgetry will ever make up for the physical symmetry of their system.

  • Subaru's are unbeatable in snow.

  • haha this one will smoke an sti these are four wheel drive too n there boosting.. so suck it eazy

  • Only in your imagination.

  • This car in the video is a 335xi, Which is a 3.0L twinturbo In-line 6 with 300HP.

    An M3 has a 4.0L V8 with 414HP RWD only.

  • what does M mean for bmw?

    so is this a m3?

  • No its not an M3..clue that the title of the video is 335xi.

  • so what would be an M3?

  • A 335xi is a straight six..i think its actually a twin turbocharged 3.0. It comes in 'm sport' trim which is essentially just a sport..like se is a trim level. An M3 is a naturally aspirated 4.4litre V8. And that car is made my BMW's motorsport division

  • Comment removed

  • I apologise, it's actually a 4.0 normally aspirated V8. And the only perceivable gains of an m sport over a sport are lots of 'M' badges, different bodykit and more standard features.

  • M3 is an m3. M pack is an optional extra which is a different trim basically. you get different bodykit, steering wheel etc.

  • M division for BMW is like the AMG for mercedes and nissmo for Nissan

  • M means "Motorsport"

The M series are more powerful than standard series.

So this is not an M3, this is a 335 xi.

"X" means Xdrive and I means gas powered. ( no diesel )

  • @Bassstringz i may be wrong but i thought the i stood for injection? and if it was a deiesel, it had d after it? i may be wrong though

  • that looks like a dodge crossover!!

  • the "x" it's a 4x4 for bmw..

  • whats the difference between 335xi and 335i?

  • 335xi is AWD, rides a bit higher as far as supension goes, 335i is RWD has a bit of a drop in its sport suspension. 335i is more fun to drive as long as it's not snowing but both cars are great

  • the x

  • 335 xdrive,the best sport cars

  • hey idk where your from but i am moving to South Dakota soon and i am debating on either getting a 335xi or a SAV

what i was wonder is the clearance on your 335xi enough to get around in a lot of snow? and do you ever wish you had a car that was higher off the ground.

of course i am leaning toward the 335xi cuz i want the power but im just not sure if it will make it around town with the clearance

  • Regarding the height, its fine for the most part, but sometimes in deep snow it doesn't clear. The 335xi is actually higher than the 335i since BMW doesn't put sport suspension on the xDrives.

You should be fine, the car has a flat undercarriage which protects the bottom pipings and everything, and remember if this car wasn't fit for the snow, BMW wouldn't even add xDrive to this model.

Make sure you buy a JB3 tune which gives you another 60-80 hp and tq.

    Good luck with your purchase.

  • Ha I have a 335i coupe not XI though and it just dumped snow on us and I had to throw down soil and sand just to get up my driveway should probably invest in snow tires if this snow keeps up.

  • @overdrive90 well i live in minnesota and if you are goin to be living in the city you will be fine with the 335xi beacuse the plows get on the streets quick and there is only maybe two days out of the winter that are realy bad but almost all the others are were there will be snow on the gras but not on the streets cause they put the salt and the sand down fast so if i were you i would get the 335xi with some blizak snowtires for the winter then you will be fine

  • @overdrive90 can you add a JB3 tune to a 328xi coupe? What is that?

  • @badperfection i dont think u can cuz i think its made only for the 335 cuz it has hidden power that bmw intentionally lowered so it wouldnt compete with the m3, and the jb3 chip unleashes that by 80hp and 80torque. Also 335 have twin turbo and 328xi doesnt

  • @overdrive90 is it a 4x4 bmw:-? ?

  • @svmetalhead3 I live in Canada near toronto and we get a lot of snow. I have a 323i which is RWD and the clearance and not having X drive still does a great job in the snow

  • @svmetalhead3 i know you posted this about a year ago but I just saw it, you should look into the Subaru sti because it has the power and the awesome symmetrical awd system

  • nut it's 4 motion?

  • you guys are dumb, it's not hurting the car at all. BMW is all about the driving experience. do whatever u want to do to have fun, as long as you're in a BMW

  • fun...but respect the badge bro lol

  • omg that hurts to see that.. lol i could never treat my 335i coupe like that ... you got balls bro... lol

  • how does it "hurt?" It's just snow.

  • you buy a 335i to drive like this lol!!!

he either has balls.. or lots of money to buy another ^^

  • What state is this in?

  • i would so get a 335 over any AUDI i respect AUDI but BMW is my dream car.i just love it.

  • You have a nice car!

    Bimone fighter Clvb! Salut!

  • The BWM 335xi is equal to AUDI new S4`08-09

the new S4-quattro is more fast...!

both are AWD system, 40:60 biased, using "SPORT DIFFERENTIAL" from the same company from SWEDEN.

Handling is perhaps the most complicated yet most interesting aspect of cars. Munich is the master sky-handling,but ingolstadt is also the Navy seal.

I thought Audi has build car to kill 335xi in all- weather ,while the next un-scared-monster RS4-09 will face the holy M3,the ultimate MUNICH

    hi,u have a nice car...

  • the stock cars***

    0-60 for 335xi(5.0-5.2) , a new S4 quattro (4.9)

    both are all weather-drive.

both are nice car to own. Get dinner with it ... happy car happy driver

  • lol..the Xdrive is about the same with the Audi-TTq or S3 or R32,but the drive is initiated through the rear wheels with the front wheel being driven when the rear" slip". in this case it depends on the setting control unit, so their Traction control management system.

btw, A sweden company supplied this system.

in audi TT quattro ( a haldex ) while ( bmw : Xdrive).

look at this vid!compare to independent AWD system...its a big question!

  • not quite,

Quattro, under normal conditions, sends 45% of the power to front and 55 to the rear axle. However, xDrive, under normal conditions, sends 40% to front and 60 to rear, which, even though 5% doesn't sound like much, but it heavily impacts the driving experience by which i mean the xDrive understeers very minimally comapred to Quattro.

The newer versions of both systems are being equipped with a rear LSD and therefore torque split is now available in the rear axle toget better handling.

  • Bwm have bacic FR layout.

Under normal conditions, though to most keenly drivers are always be a REAL BWM. I love BMW too,I believe sometime, though..,that under NORMAL conditions,Xdrive,For a front -engined car like the BWM,the best solution is to leave it as rear wheel drive in normal conditions.(abs-DSC) only in case out of limit, the Xdrive;will send Torque to the front-W`s.

BUT,under extreme conditions FR base could not devour Snow-icy like AUDI awd

    Xdrive=Haldex(sweden made) > Quattro(A)

  • actually,BWM is like the sky-line Gt-r awd hahaha..

    sorry ..i don`t think so!

btw- it will help Bwm to chase Audi on the snow-icy A-roads.

Bwm smoke audi on the summer-street...haha perhaps VICE VERSA.

    depends on ....

    both nice warriooors.

  • pretty sure it's BMW my friend...

  • Dude,i also love & respect to most bimmer club so ingolstadt club.

From the D1,audi was the most predesor in tryin' to copy the bimmer handling recipes and to collaborate with quattro weapon!haha how crazy it is! Technology is expensive!

The newest S4 is the new era to do so!actually the s4 v6 aim to beat 335 v8!40:60 super LSD have used!now even handling like a hell in the corner.Besides the style, quality db etc+ it gains 0.1-3 s to 335,s4 doesnt soundtrack like v8 +the price is up too!

  • @overdrive90 Quattro (not in A3, TT) (if theres no slip) sends exactly 50% to each axle. Thats becuase of the machanics of a torsen differential.

  • xi ? what's that ??

  • BMW's AWD system called xDrive

  • (.)Y(.) <--- see them knockers?!?

  • insecurities rushing out like a motherfucker :x

  • that isn´t a 335xi :D

    x=4WD

    3er coupé only have 2wd

  • you should look closer to the front wheels spinning to look for traction.

BMW introduced the xDrive in their new (E92) 3er coupes for the first time.

    btw, x = xDrive AWD not 4WD.

  • es gibt von bmw keinen permanenten allradantrieb, und vorallem keinen allradantrieb der spaß macht, wie das video schön zeigt. 1,7 tonnen sind nicht sportlich egal was das bmw-heft sagt ;)

  • seems funny... my old '00 z3 has abs and asc broken, and now is snowing.. i'm going to enjoy it.

  • looks alot like my video but you had less snow... nice job.

  • Nice car! I am a huge fan of the 3 series myself! I have an 02 330 Ci. What year is it?

  • thanx,its a Dec 2007 Build MY2008

  • WOOOOHOOOOO!!!BMW rear-wheel fun!!!love that...

  • its actually awd..thats what "xi" means

  • i wish you could buy a 335xi with a 6spd. you can only get the awd with an automatic.

  • where are you getting your facts from? My 335xi is 6MT. all of 3, 5, 6, X3 and M models come in manual tranny.

  • i know, i'm sry. I looked it up and i was wrong.

  • nice vid man.

What kind of tires did you have on while doing this?

  • thanks man,

the tires are dunlope sp winter sport

  • I've been thinking about getting a set of snow tires for my car.

Did you get dedicated rims for the tires as well?

Tireless was recommending to get 'narrower' tires for the snow.

  • yeah, i got a set of new rims as well. I got them from TireRack for $1500 CAD last year. It was a good deal. My tires are 235's, so they are not narrow, and I mainly got this because I didn't want to ruin the look of the rear of teh car with narrow tires. However, I recommend 225's for winters if your area gets deep snow a lot.

  • Get a Subaru bro

    WRX OWNER

  • Get a BMW bro

    BMW OWNER

  • BMW r 4 fags who cant drive and wanna look good

  • "BMW r 4 fags who cant drive and wanna look good"

People who say BMWs are for fags, are broke bitch made idiots who can't afford BMWs; and are jealous of people who do have them.

Stay pissed off at the world kid. LOL.

  • that BMW, can do same on concrete, no need for snow

  • Nice. What do you think about the xDrive? Contemplating a new car, maybe a 320xdA.

Living in Finland means the xDrive would come in handy in the winter.

  • It is good if you live in the northern part of the world, but remember, xdrive = less fun

  • Yeah I know, but at the moment I drive a FWD old Toyota Carina so even with 4WD it's gona be MUCH more fun than before LOL :D

(Also I have a VW beetle project ongoing for RWD fun ;) )

  • What percentage is your window tint?? It looks perfect, not too dark..

  • its 35%. I had the dealer do it for me, so its good quality.

  • It looks great, thanks..

  • Hi!

    Were you using snow tires?

  • yeah, dunlope sp winter sport

  • yeah sorry guys, the sound was messed up

  • No sound...

  • it could use some sound
