@jaivs77 I record the cinematics on PC using a xbox controller. Then I add some camera movements in Vegas (panning/cropping).

Well it's his contest, Vanquiish's entry absolutely fit Agony's style and I also liked it a lot. But I'm absolutely contented with the 4th place because it brought me a lot of attention and subscribers ;) So there are already 2-3 new projects in work.

It's a Cookie Cutter FX from vegas. I just made two tracks - one with the nice CC and one with low saturation above it. Then I added the Cookie Cutter to the upper track and animated the size of the ring ;) That's the main thing. Moreover I used some swirl and spherize effects to make the thing look like a wave but it's not that important.

Good job for Vegas editing. Being an editor myself, I know a lot of effort was put into this. I personally prefer AE; once you can understand everything you have a lot more control than Vegas. However, I still keep Vegas around on my Mac. :D Gratz on 4th, well deserved.

Well vegas is different. The only thing I miss in Vegas is a matchmoving feature and some lens flare plugins. But thats not a reason for me to switch to AE. Sometimes I'm using it for special scenes, but I just dont like it's workflow.
