@Jamsessionroom1337 2nd and a half year of playing at the time of this video. i have been playing for four years now i'm a bit out of practice (final year of school) but i think i have improved a lot especially with my tone.

I've been at it for 3 years now going on my fourth, i've learned a bit and my chops match that of Synyster gates, but my note choosing is still at a lower intermediate level.

The only thing i've learned from my years of playing is: disregard every amp, get a damien 7 string (save up for a Ibanez pro 8 string), and buy an audio fractal FX . :P

Anyways keep at it dude. If you want to be a musicians, it's repetition, and learning from mistakes.

@Jamsessionroom1337 I actually recently bought a line 6 hd500. Sounds fuckin awesome for the price and i might post up a GOOD demo of it soon, all the demos on youtube apart from fearedse's make it sound shit, but believe me, it's pretty good.

well if you are using guitar rig 3 rec it with Acoustica Mixcraft 5, if you use a pc you can use g.rig 3 as a filter and then dub the recording over the video that way the sound is nice and clear

It's not a bad solo for an improvisation, but as a non-improvised solo I don't really like it. He should try recording some songs and spending some time on the solos cuz he's got the talent.

Then again, you have to remember that few good solos were improvised. I don't think it's fair to badmouth the solo too much since it's improvised.

i like your improvisation its realy good, but for next time record the rhythm played by urself, and then the lead, and make 1 video, so the rhythm guitar wont have a guitar pro shitty sound xD... but still u r good man keep it up :)

tocas bien amigo, pero tal vez tendrias que desarrollar un poco mas tu estilo, fijate como colocas la mano respecto al mastil, proba descargar bases de internet, porque eso del Guitar Pro, es malisimo, son sonidos MIDI, desarrola tu tecnica, usa mas el dedo pequeño, y no seas tan repetitivo en tus improvisaciones, tenes una exelente guitarra,

Your focusing too much, just play it even if its a little sloppy,

let the notes ring out a little more, and some phrasing would definetly help.

i like watuv done pretty well, im more of an srv type man myself but have just verry recintly been getting in to metal and im really starting to love neo-classical and its like im starting and learning new things all over again so dont make the same mistakes i did and keep ur playing style spread to all types of music but stay with wat u like to listen to the most never wat everyone else things looks cool u r doing verry good, iv been on bass for 13 years and guitar for 10 and can tell good jb

It sounds quite good man, I don't care if you play "only after 12th frets", the most important in music imo, is it has to sound good, and it does to me !

And as others said, use your pinky most often, train it. If you can play like that, you can easily improve your pinky skill.
