I mean, it shows Renji saying 'Baboon Bone Cannon' and then in the next shot you see Ilforte crashing dead to the ground. Drawing a panel showing Zabimaru firing the energry blast from its mouth or something might've made it clearer; as it stands, readers who haven't seen the anime have no idea what happened, and Kubo can't be concealing it for dramatic effect or the anime wouldn't have shown it like this.

@811Zelda Yes, but the attack translates as 'Baboon Bone Cannon', according to the subtitles. Zabimaru apparently means 'Snake Tail'; his spirit form is a baboon with a snake for a tail. The Bankai form in the video is Hihiō Zabimaru, 'Baboon King Snake Tail'.
