I feel like Limelight had great potential, but the singer was wrong for it. I think Eric should've taken that one, and Brooker could've taken In The Real World. I personally like this song a little better, although Graham Dye's voice is a little too nasal for my tastes. Of course, I may just like this song better because I can play the solo. ;)

Light of the World is good, and maybe the best from Stereotomy. But... better than Limelight? Closer to Heaven? Shadow of a Lonely Man? Time? Eric's magical There But For the Grace of God or Don't Let The Moment Pass from Freudiana? Or Alan's solo stunner Siren Song? Title Track to Turn of a Friendly Card Parts I and II? No, I think Limelight bests this one; noted as it was specifically mentioned...

Hi! I am a big fan of The APP, and by my own opinion Light of the World is better than LImelight. You are free to disagree with me. And of course I agree with u when u say that There but for the GRace of God, The Turn of a Friendly Card and Don't Let the MOment Pass are better. Ciao. Fer

This is probably my favorite Alan Parsons or Alan Parsons Project song of his whole career. I first heard it eight years ago at age 21, and I wondered why it was never released as a single. It's one of the most beautiful and evocative pieces to make it onto vinyl or compact disc.

I do agree 100 % with rainstorm 1977. This is by far the most beautiful song of the album stereotomy. Even Limelight sung by Gary Brooker is ineferior to Light of the World!
