It took me 2 weeks to get mine but you have to work on your hip flexibility because i already had it when i started. I would say 1-2 months to get the middle split. Good luck

i tore my hanstring overstretching, i was doing this everyday and then done a cartwheel and my hamstring ripped, very painfull! was fucked for like 8 months

@badtreasey in terms of tutorials, best place is to check out the 3runTube Channel. As for over coming fear of hurting your self.....If your already thinking your gonna hurt yourself, then your not committing to the move or skill. Be confident but at the same time don't do anything thats way out of your comfort zone. Although the only way to improve is to out of your comfort zone, only do it small stages at a time. Start of with basic skills and develop them slowly.

Try the Butterfly Stretch. Ill try to explain it. You put your feet together (Like the bottom of your feet) Bring them as close as possible to your self. Then Lean forward while you push your legs closer to the ground.
