Also, Peverley had a huge dive, Ryder, and Ference faked a high stick that was nowhere near hitting him the face. Thomas sold and tried to sell a couple penalties too. All the vids are right there. The reffing in this series has been nothing short of atrocious (both ways). That call on McCorkick for "goaltender interference" was the biggest load of shit, he never even touched rask it was all sturm. Not to mention the "boarding" call on kaleta's moster hit on Lucic was pretty bad too. All of the games have been pretty bad but last game was by far the worst. Refs shouldn't have that big of an outcome on games especially in the playoffs
@buttkick22 Sobotka was called for an equally horrible goaltender interference call, Lucic had a questionable boarding call, in Game 1 there was a phantom trip that sealed the game for Buffalo... Look at the slash that would've been called on Wheeler before the 1st Sabres goal in Game 4 after Myers punched him in the face, Myers has gotten away with that all series. The referees have been awful but I don't think one team has benefited from them more than the other.

The fact is that as a referee you have to be consistent. Blake Wheeler was hit way harder by Thomas Vanek and a penalty was not called. I don't have a problem with that but if Vanek's hit is not a penalty then Chara's hit on Kaleta is not a penalty either. Bottom line; this was an inconsistent and badly refereed game. Kaleta took a dive. If your not going to penalize Vanek then you can't penalize Chara. Call it both ways.

Also, Peverley had a huge dive, Ryder, and Ference faked a high stick that was nowhere near hitting him the face. Thomas sold and tried to sell a couple penalties too. All the vids are right there. The reffing in this series has been nothing short of atrocious (both ways). That call on McCorkick for "goaltender interference" was the biggest load of shit, he never even touched rask it was all sturm. Not to mention the "boarding" call on kaleta's moster hit on Lucic was pretty bad too. All of the games have been pretty bad but last game was by far the worst. Refs shouldn't have that big of an outcome on games especially in the playoffs

@buttkick22 Sobotka was called for an equally horrible goaltender interference call, Lucic had a questionable boarding call, in Game 1 there was a phantom trip that sealed the game for Buffalo... Look at the slash that would've been called on Wheeler before the 1st Sabres goal in Game 4 after Myers punched him in the face, Myers has gotten away with that all series. The referees have been awful but I don't think one team has benefited from them more than the other.

The fact is that as a referee you have to be consistent. Blake Wheeler was hit way harder by Thomas Vanek and a penalty was not called. I don't have a problem with that but if Vanek's hit is not a penalty then Chara's hit on Kaleta is not a penalty either. Bottom line; this was an inconsistent and badly refereed game. Kaleta took a dive. If your not going to penalize Vanek then you can't penalize Chara. Call it both ways.
