This show had a LOT of promise. A great supporting cast. Too bad that CBS didn't give it more of a chance. Given some time it could have run for years. Love the original commercials! The mid-80s were great! Thanks for posting!
Originally telecast on December 11, 1985, "From Pillar To Post" was the first of 13 episodes [however, the original name of the paper "Mary Brenner" found employment at had to be changed before this aired, because there was a REAL "Chicago Post" (a small weekly), and they didn't want their name associated with this series- so it became the "Chicago Eagle" instead]. Originally airing on Wednesdays at 8pm(et), the show moved to Tuesdays at 9:30 shortly before being cancelled in April 1986.
