These delusions came as counter attacks to The Reformation. They were invented to take the eyes of the people off of the true culprits of sin at the time. There is a fantastic Jewish believer in Messiah Yeshua who teaches these things in great historical detail. His name is Steve Wohlberg of White Horse Media. I hope you can check him out.
Dear Rabbi, I have to write this since the word "rapture" was mentioned at the beginning of this message. On the subject of end times there are some awful delusions: The Rapture, The 7 Years of Tribulation, and The Antichrist. These are terrible lies that are not going to take place. The next generation must be spared these delusions being passed on again! Bible prophecy and history prove the inaccuracy of these teachings and how they were created.
why argue about this? It's so petty, two different opinions can collide but come on... are we adults? we're all entitled to our opinions, but bash someone else's... surely it's a sin? lol. You have no right to categorise people who you don't even know, and this is going to both sides of the argument.
@watchthemoviefitna Well look who's calling the kettle black, I don't see you as any less insulting and angry. Your bitterness is evident in every sentence you write. Given what you appear to follow, you would do well to heed your own advice about mental health---and anger too. You clearly can't tell the difference between anger issues and well deserved responses to a pompous hypocrite like yourself who can't handle it when some lunatic fringe religion is criticized.
You appear to subscribe to this primitive tripe yet you claim I have distorted perceptions?? For moral obtuseness you take the cake. Religion falls under the category of ideas which have no special immunity from criticism. I'll say whatever I damn well please in an open comment section about an obsessive religious cult that shuns the secular world and anticipates end times. I will not by silenced a presumptuous, condescending dick---so piss off.
@watchthemoviefitna It was you who responded to me you self righteous wind bag. I grew up in a strict religious community not unlike this with parochial, authoritarian types imposing their dogma on me day and night. Any terse criticism I have is well deserved and I WILL speak up whenever I damn well please.
Go back and wallow in your pus bucket of bronze age ignorance
@watchthemoviefitna Typical--ad-hominem attacks---intrinsic to your nature. The "hatred" is all on your side---towards anything that does not conform to your pinched view of existence. We in the rational secular world have to live with the consequences and influences of the religious right---in politics and education. So I will stand up and speak against ideas that I consider dangerous and that ultimately threaten my freedom and well being.
@watchthemoviefitna "Vehement hatred and "fowl attitude" are distorted perceptions on your part due to the extensive brainwashing of your cult.
The best term to describe my reaction is probably 'disgust' which is entirely appropriate for this cult. Though I can't speak for all atheists---we are in general as happy and content as anyone--however we are human beings so we get pissed off when cults try to spread lies and nonsense to us and our children.
We have GOT TO BE FAITHFUL to pass these highly precious Torah things, that we're only beginning to love, on to the generations coming up to walk with us.
Loved what Brad said about the highest value of food and water - that is so obvious as to be profound, but our culture has lost so much that is valuable knowledge in these simple things. Also his comment about teaching our lambs to "speak to the Rock" - instead of striking it - like we have done!

You're not prepare the next generation for shit--- except their stunned realization what a bunch of deluded, lunatic fringe mental cases you are.
Your influence doesn't carry past the primitive, blinkered world you've created for your fellow cultists.

Excellent video!
The end IS near; if not for the world as a whole, then for any individual at any time.
Teach as if the end is near, walk as if this is your last day, love as if eternity is yours ...because it is.
