On Christmas day: i get engaged, my mom gets engaged, i find out that me and my uncle are going to afghanistan, me for a 18 months and him for 6. I also find out that 2 of my buddies, a cousin and a life-long friend where killed the week of Christmas. So things like this mean a lot to me. Thank you so much @88cds07

I just wanted to say thanky you fellow bothers and sisters in the Army. I was a Medic in the Army. It was hard being away from home. I have lost couple of friends over in duty. i watched this video and did not have a dry eye because it reminded me of when my dad went overseas. My dad served in the Navy and im still proud of him for his service. Being a child of a sailor was hard yet being a spouse i can not imagine. So, from one military family to another may God bless your beloved sailors, soldiers, marines, coast guard, and fly boys.

I'm so appreciative of all the US troops fighting for their country. I have a brother and sister and am so thankful they didn't go overseas. They would have missed their families and my brother would have missed me. Thank God for everything and the loved ones here at home. It's ridiculous that they can SEE an insurgent plant an IED, but only shoot him if he's in the process of planting it. They can only shoot IF they see a weapon in an insurgent's hand...if he shoots, then dumps the gun and runs....no can do. I do NOT get that! Plus, NOW the Admin is leaving 3,000 troops in Iraq, ignoring Generals?!
