Hello! First of all, great playing. I was wandering if you can improvise something with GONK effect.. I am having doubts whether to buy one of digitech's processors such as rp155 or rp 355 in order to have that DOD gonkulator effect pedal. I have an Incubus tribute band and it is really important to have that one as one of the most used effects.
@TheDirtyBeloved i know how to play back the loop u previously made.. this is just a glitch tho. 1)make the loop 2) come out of looper mode 3)change presets if u want 4)go back in looper mode 5)hit down twice then up once.. and the loop will play agen
but when it plays agen its in overdub mode and ull have to take it out of that. this works with rp500s tell me if it works with that.
I run various Schecter guitars into a line 6 G50 wireless into a TU-2 into the RP1000 into a Carvin TS100 into a Radial JDX direct box into a Mesa Recto 212. I've been playing for the last 3 years in a band that plays out quite a bit and I've found that the easier you can make things, the better off you are. I love the RP1000. For live situations, there is nothing better. When you put it with a good tube power amp, you have more headroom than you'll ever need......
@paula280491 you can connect to your surround sound,or a pa,or headphones or monitors.I have played the rp's for years and they are cool,but I scraped them all when I got the Vox tonelab ex.
The guitarist is great but you just can't get from those multieffects pedals the tone you can from individual pedals. I wish you could because the Multi pedals are so convenient, all of those effects in one damn pedal. But the tone just doesn't sound good. I can't describe it. It's like your listening to a distortion pedal made in the 1970's. It sounds muted or something. Can anyone think of the word I looking for to describe their tone?
@mesaboogieproblem There are some cab and amp sims near the end of the demo around the 6:30 mark. Now that I have had the unit for sometime I have found the amp sims sound good if you set the cab to direct and use your own cab.
@AerosmithForce1 I used the default setting that comes with the unit no tweaking, i also used the 4x12 Marshall cab but since i shot this video i now turn the cab sim to direct so i can use my own Marshall cab, makes a big difference.
Wow you have some great sick tones there! congrats!, by the way i noticed that the RP 1000 doesn't have a CD line in input so is it possible to use the windows media player and play along with the music with the RP connected through the USB or i need to use the cubase software? Thanks!.
@urbanspy2008 Yes you can play along with media player over USB. The device is recognized as a audido interfase. Just insert your speakers/Headphones inside the rp.
Is it worth buying even if my amp doesn't have an effects loop???

@DriftOnDirt 20 second looper but once the looper is engaged you are unable to select another bank of patches.

@Jshect Maybe because of the mic compression/clipping from the camera, i tried one at the store and sounded really good.
