My boyfriend and i live together, and we have been looking for a dog. and we went to the Humane Society.... and we found the cutest most loving Treeing Walker Coonhound... she is beautiful, i think we are going tonight to get her =]
I love my Walker more than life itself. He is the baby of the house. We got him from the shelter. He loves bye-bye and his family. And don't mention bye bye around him, or you'll have a howling madman running through the house.
A hound adopted us, lives in our outdoor dog crate. She's pregnant.
It must be a hobo-trail sign on our gate saying, "Dump your dog here." Fifth dog left this year. Heartless folk discard city dogs alone in the woods, & speed off; loyal pet tries to follow, then waits -how long before they come back for her? Thank you God, for rescue groups. We already have 6 (fixed) dogs. And thank you God, for making dogs.
i found my walker hound half dead on the side of the road. we adopted him and named him Homer. at first we thought he was a beagle.... but he just kept growing.
My walkers are chuck and walden, and my lab is buddy its a house full.

We adopted ours at 2 - he was so sad. Now 5 years later, he's a happy, fun and loud! boy.

Walkers are one of my favorite breeds of dogs. I grew up with one named, Cheetah. They are amazing dogs. :)

She's beautiful!!! I love Walkers -- I found mine when she was 8 weeks old in a box on the side of the road. They are wonderful dogs!!
