So many people fail to realize that R Kelly actually wrote this for MJ. He Loved him. There's nothing wrong with singing a song to pay tribute to someone you Loved. R.Kelly stole the music from two european producers. I heard the original track, it was weak but "you are not alone" is just an enhanced copy. Pushing the felony further, "I believe I can fly" contains the same chord progressions. R.Kelly or "how to make money by spoiling other producers". By the way Michael's performance was far better and, no need to say, without autotune.

Everything I hear from the US since Timbaland's shock value is a copy of what I heard in my country in the 90's (european dance music). The best paid producer in the world (and in the us) is french and the second one is a team from Norway. Do the history dummy, before you insult someone who works with Autotune daily and can hear it when it's there. DEEF is actually spelled "deaf". I'm not surprised that someone who can't even spell a word in his native language presents such a lack of culture.

I don't mean R. can't sing in tune, the other tracks you mention don't make use of it at all. As for the "you fools copy US" thing, I may have agreed three or four years ago. That's not true anymore. Look at the 2010/2011 charts and find the names of the best selling producers. They're from Europe. For now Timabaland, Dre, R.Kelly or the Dream are far behind.

So many people fail to realize that R Kelly actually wrote this for MJ. He Loved him. There's nothing wrong with singing a song to pay tribute to someone you Loved. And in this case R Kelly wrote the song anyways!! Another good tribute recently was Omarion doing a cover of One In a Million originally sung by Aaliyah. You all should check it out!

R.Kelly stole the music from two european producers. I heard the original track, it was weak but "you are not alone" is just an enhanced copy. Pushing the felony further, "I believe I can fly" contains the same chord progressions. R.Kelly or "how to make money by spoiling other producers". By the way Michael's performance was far better and, no need to say, without autotune.

Everything I hear from the US since Timbaland's shock value is a copy of what I heard in my country in the 90's (european dance music). The best paid producer in the world (and in the us) is french and the second one is a team from Norway. Do the history dummy, before you insult someone who works with Autotune daily and can hear it when it's there. DEEF is actually spelled "deaf". I'm not surprised that someone who can't even spell a word in his native language presents such a lack of culture.

@silkbeatsTV You are right, the music is an improved version of something Eddie and Dan Van Passel wrote in 1993; but the lyrics were written by r-kelly. Tho to say that every single song you have heard from the United States since 2007 were stolen from Europe is outrageous. The United States is where originality was invented. In fact, it wouldn't be much of a stretch to think that those 1990s European dance songs you referred to were inspired by something written in the United States. ~Peace

I say that the current "dance/r&b" thing is inspired by 1990's euro dance, which takes its origin in something purely european (german as a matter of fact, with groups like kraftwerk). As far as I'm concerned it's not the best music Europe has to offer, and it's really sad that the US lost the originality you're talkin about for some years now. I'm french AND I think David Guetta's music (or may I say David Guetta's current ghost producers' music) is crap.

@MrBkofi Be polite, please. I'm sorry you react like that, but that's a fact: I work with Autotune daily and I can assure you it's here. I don't mean R. can't sing in tune, the other tracks you mention don't make use of it at all. As for the "you fools copy US" thing, I may have agreed three or four years ago. That's not true anymore. Look at the 2010/2011 charts and find the names of the best selling producers. They're from Europe. For now Timabaland, Dre, R.Kelly or the Dream are far behind.

@mjjcng8958 Michael has nothing to do with this, it's not his fault, he wasn't even aware of the situation, I doubt he would've done something like that on purpose (and oh yeah, R.Kelly WAS sued, the belgian guys had proof of what they said and and if you google it you're gonna be very disappointed because R.Kelly lost and had to give the money back).
