what I like about trace bundy is that not only has he got skill but I like his music. there are some good guitarists out there, probably better than him but they sometimes just play stuff cos its difficult, not cos it sounds good
just look for 'my three moons' or 'the enormous room' vids here on youtube. there are more funky and speedy songs out there, but now I can't remember. Oh, and btw, he's michael manring, not manning. otherwise you'll never find him ^^
haha "dosent look that hard", these are the people who obviously have never picked up a guitar in there life some people cant even hit a harmonic this guys pulling them of perfectly while keeping a nice rhythem going without strumming f**kin noobs
Muscianship is not measured in terms of "this guy owns this other guy" or "this dude makes this other guy look terrible". It is obvious you are a fan of Andy and it is great you enjoy his music. But please don't play that immature game of this guitarist is so much better that this other guitarist. I have seen Andy's videos before and he is obviously a great talent.
andy mckee owns this guy...seriously everyone type in andy mckee and search and click on the guitar solo vid. trust me this guys is nothing compared to the andy
if you dig what this guy's doing, check out preston reed, he is mind blowing...if you listen to his stuff, it's all recorded with just an acoustic guitar...
What's up with you mike1mike1mike1? You seem to rag on everyone. Are you that envious and struck with awe that you can't control yourself? Please, take a break and give them their due. I believe what he's doing is great.
Although his tapping technique is sufficient, it's nothing that hasn't been done before (and more proficiently) on the acoustic guitar by the likes of Michael Hedges, Preston Reed, or Billy McLaughlin. What's worse, this piece of "music" is completely devoid of any melodic content at all. Music is nothing without communication, something lost on novices who think great technique=great composition.
Do you really think such a haughty attitude serves any constructive purpose? This is certainly music, no need for the quotes. I am not sure why I'm defending this guy (even though I did enjoy the video), your attitude just offends me.
That's great. One of my friends can play that song also. It takes a lot of skill and coordination to play that piece, so it is to be commended. Now, the REAL talent is when you can not only PLAY difficult pieces like that, but also WRITE and RECORD pieces such as that.

the long finger nails are acrylic and used for finger picking and his harmonics.... nothing really weird about it, they come off after every show
