Myself, I wouldn't hit a woman except in cases of self-defense. But the time will come when these women think they can bump they gums at just about anybody. Guys learn from an early age that running your mouth in excess may lead to a physical altercation. This is a lesson that some women don't think applies to them because society says it's wrong to hit a woman. I've seen this kind of thing before where a woman will be in an argument with dude about something stupid but wont let it go because she feels that there's no consequences for her if she escalates the confrontation. It's messed up but this woman learned that lesson that day.
