Hi. It does not have loop capability. They have the JM 4 out that is supposed to do it all, or you can use a boss looper with the POD X3 Live.

I have an x3live and a RC-20XL loop station and can get a good sound going to one amp but would like to go direct to PA and have not been able to get a decent sound, would you have any tips? I have tried about every port I can think of, the only thing left is permanently mic'n the amp but I am trying to get less cords, thanks in advance if you respond

Does the x3-live have a looping function of some kind built in?

The looping comes from the Boss RC-50. There is no in-built looping function in the X3-Live as far as I know.

You can use a ping-pong echo but you can't really "loop" per se...just set the tap really far apart and play as many notes as you can in between...

i have the 2.0 and the xt live.. and i have a hard time getting exactly what i want running through an amp.. running right through the PA sounds excellent.. when running through a computer i recommend using some good quality headphoens hooked into your pod.. and you can play along with music right through USB.. like i said i dont prefer an amp.. but thats just me.. if you can get a sound from an amp that you like then work with it!! :)

Yeah, full-range all the way. I sold my guitar amp and got a Wharfedale Pro floor monitor, does the trick nicely. Run the XLR from the Pod to the monitor and on to the mixer from the monitor. A nice way to make sure you have a proper monitor on a gig is to bring your own. =)

If you haven't got $500 bucks for the RC50 they also sell a RC-2 for $180, about the size of a normal pedal it can loop alot like the GT10 but has a longer time to record the loop then the GT10.

Hi, as far as sound, the guitar is not Mic'ed nor is an amp in use. That sound is the POD X3 live. The mic used for beatboxing in the shure SM 57. Monitors are an old stereo my wife was going to throw away-a JVC model unknown made circa 1995 or so. I dont use a mixer either, I just plug into my old Creative soundblaster Audigy soundcard. Hope that helps.

should be okay in a hub. your issue could be a low quality usb cable to the hub or the hub isn't able to maintain the voltage that the x3l needs to operate over usb properly. try a filtered cable and the minimum length possible?

all else fails pick up a pci usb card :)

I have had mine now for a month and love it and have had no problems with it..I just think they had a few glitches when it first came out..

I have the X3 Live and it's been great for me. The only real problem I've had is the common "USB audio drop-out" problem, where all sounds except the guitar vanish when using the X3 as a sound card.

Oh, and once I had some problems with my floor monitor and mixer, some real nasty crackling, but haven't been able to reproduce the problem since. Electronics, go figure.

I love the damn thing and will only change it when they come up with something better or I get the money to buy an Egnater amp.
