  • I've found DietOramy food regimen (you'll discover it on Google) - that diet plan is just spectacular, I 'm in no way depriving myself and I am nevertheless shedding off weight - the trick is in distinctive varieties of meals, not at all in calories...

  • Hi! Have you tried - fast abs magic (should be on google have a look)? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my GF got beautiful Six pack abs and lost a truck load of of weight with it.

  • @sayno88 Yeah it's true the diet plan in the site WeightLossAction.Info really works. I found it and started using it, in 2 weeks I lose weight. I was so amazed in the good results.

  • I'm on the North Pole Diet.

    Works fantastically

  • I agree with everything here except for your definition of a diet. a diet doesn't have to mean a decrease in calories. diet is simply the sum of food consumed by a person or organism. As far as the rest of the video goes, I agree 100%. Calorie deficit = weight loss, calorie surplus = weight gain, calorie equillibrium = weight doesn't change

  • Wow this guy is right! Probably the best video I have came across.

  • @xytsdx2 Thanks!

I know u make a point about needing high intensity exercise to cause muscular growth, but is there any value in doing for example hundreds of push ups dips etc, exept for endurance.. i dont understand how someone (mike tyson) can weigh 230 pounds of pure muscle,, and according to himself, only ever did intense calesthetics.. thanyou

  • i'm currently doing the p90x workout routines every day, but am still unsure as to what my diet should be. there is a nutrition plan in the program, but to me it seems like there are way too many calories. i need to lose fat fast. i don't want to bulk up. i just want to be lean.

  • isn't it better to eat high protein high fat to protect your muscle mass & body composition? My body fat percentage is too high, especially around my belly & I read that if I eat high protein or ketogenically I will preserve more muscle & burn more fat, especially belly fat.

  • I'm trying to weight so I'm dieting and exercising daily. I have one question on what I eat though. for dinner, I eat a chicken breast prepackaged from perdue. Along with that I have brown rice mixed with corn. Those three things compose my dinner everyday. Is the brown rice with corn a good idea to eat if I'm trying to loose weight.... or is that meal in general a good idea?

  • My opinion on BodyPerformanceTV.. you can only get so far with these methods of weight loss and fitness... at a certain point .. this will all become inneffective. I believe that if you follow the program from this channel you wont recieve rapid results.. but you might see some results depending on your current body health.... I think everyone that is serious about being athletic and ripped . should consider VinceDelmonte's channel

  • I went on the north pole diet for a week once.

  • and if you eat less portions more often it keeps your metabolism going and is burning more calories

  • nah apparently thats a myth (so i hear)

  • That is a myth. We all used to do the 6-8 meals a day thing for that reason. No truth to it. I now have 3 meals pluse 2 snacks daily just to keep my blood glucose levels on a more even keel all day and to prevent coming to any 1 meal overly hungry. Coming to any meal overly hungry can encourage over-eating at that meal. But other then that, this whole " keeping your metabolism going" is a bunch of bullshit from the early 90's.

  • This is just wrong. This is the old a calorie is a calorie myth that has been disproven time and again, starting with the glycemic index.

To lose weight, give up sugar, corn syrup, white flour and white rice. And you must exercise! Weight lifting builds muscle mass and muscles burn calories ALL THE TIME.

I recommend Living the Low Carb Lifestyle by Jonny Bowden and How I Gave Up My Low-Fat Diet and Lost 40 Pounds by Dana Carpender.

  • We all understand the white flour, processed foods and how they can affect appetite and make losing weight difficult. I eat almost all...if not all, whole natural fruits and vegetables and lean meat and nuts and whole grains ( the real thing). Nevertheless,...this video is correct and has to be understood in context. Even the healthiest---as it relates to fat loss---is a calorie (units of heat energy) equation.

  • Please don't get yourself mixed up in the Low Carb lifestyle. It's NOT good to flatline your blood glucose levels like that,...and that's not what doctors are asking you to do. It can create a whole host of secondary problems when you're on Low Carb for an extended period of time. It's also not good for your physique. Again, as a whole natural foods eater, the video above must be understood in it's context. It is correct.

  • just buy a nigger and run around whoopin his ass when he doesnt pick cotton fast enough.

  • Bacardix, I think we should leave you on a large stretch of desert that no one is currently using.

  • true advice

  • Pure vodka. Pure ethanol on that matter doesn't have sugar in it. (unless added by the manufacturer) now it doesn't burn fat on a chemical process it is simply your bodies reaction to the substance is what burns the fat (increased heart rate, sweat). In the long run of the night you will burn more calories than you gained.

  • so if u run at ngiht?????u burn mor ecaloreis than what u ate or what????? lol sorry if i miss understood :(

  • Steve,

    become a beachbody coach!!

  • im loving my body right now.. with a couple beers and some marijuana... but honestly.. i ran pretty good laps today... did core and back work outs and sat in the sauna and rained sweat... its good to have a balance right... even arnold drank whskey and smoked J's now and then didnt faze him cause he was such a hard worker on the side

  • I disagree. Certain foods make you more hungry so you would want to limit them to control cravings. Not everyone has that willpower.

  • north pole lol

  • I think his videos are great. You need to view them all to get motivated. They are motivating. They are not extreme and are a good start for anyone who is immobilized and wants to get moving with their health and fitness goals.

  • THANK YOU! Check out my site too! Lot of great FREE info! Tell a friend as well.

  • so i can eat kfc yeehaa just 1 peace pack not 2 lol sounds like a fun diet to me

  • calories are energy. energy cannot be created nor destroyed. the calories can either be used or stored into fat. if you cut calories your body will pull the calories from your fat for energy. in turn making you lose fat. a whole lotta dim wits on this website. you cant fight science. it's always right.

  • idiot. calories are FUEL for your body. you dont see nuclear weapons being made out of butterfingers and kit-kat.

  • ye calories are fuel for your body.. but just dont get in TOO much calories.. That will make you fat.

  • @evolkram it's not 100% accurate to say that energy cannot be created or destroyed....

  • Wrong! Starvation causes fat gain. Since most people only eat 3 times per day they're starving themselves. Eat foods that a diabetic would eat (look up the glycemic index). Have a meal every 3 hours. Your body is starving, so it stores energy as fat because it doesn't know when the next meal is coming. Feed yourself regularly and you will have no need for fat. Foods low on the glycemic index will increase your metabolism. You should also drink water as much as possible.

  • You are so incorrect on so many level!

  • Hes right actually. Sure, if you eat less often, you will lose weight. But as far as burning fat, you won't get rid of that extra flab by starving yourself. It's when you eat regularly, your body will increase it's motabolism. Like the guy said, if you don't eat regularly, your body will have to store whatever it can as fat as it doesnt know when the next meal is coming. It goes on survival mode. Eating small meals regularly and drinking plenty of water will help fatloss a great deal

  • lol i dont want to be a hater but its very clear that ur a mesomorph that hasnt had to work hard to get the body u want and never had to realy do the research. if u have a decrease in calories but still remain in an acidic state and not eating alcaline foods, ur body will still store any acid in fat cells, i would recomend everyone to simply be on a deficit but eat ONLY natural foods every 3 hours, this along with workouts and interval training to increase your metabolism throughout the day.

  • Get a F---ing clue!!!

  • ACTUALLY he doesnt say ANYTHING about reducing regularity of meals he is simply saying that u should eat the foods u like but in smaller portions. By that he means a reduced calorie diet. He actually promotes 5-6 meals a day in other videos but he is just explaining that a reduced calorie intake will cause a calorie deficit which will mean ur body will start to burn body fat to fill the gap. And starting or comments with "WRONG!" is very rude so grow up and learn some manners.

  • Yes! ~Steve

  • this is very smart. i'vve never thought about it like this. this is truly genius. eeat less of what you like. decrease of calories.

  • in terms of "eating foods that i like" i would eat alot of vegetables first so that the fiber can fill me up. then i will b able to eat less of the foods that i like. i think that every1 can agree with me on that.

  • so you're saying i can eat cake as long as it's less? i understand you don't mean that exactly, but if you want your body to love you it should be fed whole, nutrient and mineral dense foods i.e. fruits, vegetables, grains, nuts, legumes. anything processed should be decreased or eliminated; especially dairy products because they're mucus forming, fortified, and irradiated, thus eliminating most of the mineral content of the product itself. the body needs enzymes and minerals to thrive

  • To general. Not everyone is the same. For instance my diet was almost totally vegetarian, no refined sugar, and I was still in the mid-high 300's. (Keeping in mind I am 6'5 and large build). I had no health issues at all, other then being tubby. I started introducing a lot more dairy into my diet, as well as not insignificant amounts of meat and fish and in 1 year I lost 80+lbs. No excess mucus etc... then again being of Scandinavian decent I am probably more adapted to dairy.

  • wow, thats exactly right. you'e been a huge help thanks alot

  • Hi I´m weird. It seems like I get more muscular and less fat if I eat a lot of high carb and high calorie than when I eat lowcarb and low calorie like 2000 kcals or so. Even when I eat a big bag or chips and some candy it looks like my stomach has gotten smaller the day after and I don´t gain any fat from eating pizza. I don´t look fat but the reason I wanted to lose fat is because I have some fat in my chest that I want to lose. It´s not Gyno I have just a lil fat there that I want to lose.

  • You have spoken of your diet but not of any exercise, I have found that often there is one body part that will not be what you want it to be. If your eating pizza and Big bags of chips you will never shed that last bit of fat around your chest Bro. I could help you out if you give me more info on your diet and exercise/fitness and lifting routines.

  • Well I eat that like one time a week and I sometimes feel leaner the day after. Kind of weird. But I think I´m going to stop eating unhealthy in the weekend and I eat bread like two times a day. I´m going to start eating mostly whole foods and often eat vegetables. I know hot to count calories but I´m not doing that now because I eat different food every day. Maybe I do it some day if I feel like I have to. I always eat breakfast and then I eat every 2.5 hours.

  • Great tip! ^^ It's so obviouse but ofc, you often don't think like the obviouse :P

I think that if i eat less and start to excersize i can lose weight fast and still feel good :)

and sometimes when you buy some expesnive stuff 4 weugh loosing, you can get ill or it doesn't work :P

So why not stay whit the easy way? ^^ i will starting now! :D

  • cold apples are good

  • I take Hot Hoodia Plus and it's the best. i lost 18 pounds already and love that it didn't leave me with any side effects.

  • I didn't hear anything about the best foods...:(

  • Best foods.... Lean chicken skinless, any green vegetables, fruits, fish, you get the drift....

  • I have a question for you. I started out on a weight of 210 pounds, and now, 18 months later, I have lost 45 pounds. But it was when I almost eliminated all carbohydrates and increased my total calorie intake, that the pounds would disappear. I have done several serious analysis of my food, and what I discovered whas that I now eat more calories than I did when being overweight, I have just radically cut down on carbs. Any comment...

  • Nobody loses weight by eating more UNLESS they burning more calories and therefore creating a calorie deficit. . Many people do not look at EVERYTHING they do accurately. Eating fewer carbs means you're eating less calories AND it's more difficult to eat large amounts of protein as compared to large amounts of carbs. This all means you lost that 45 pounds (GREAT job) by creating a calorie loss SOME HOW. Either eating less, exercising more, or a combo of both.

  • "Nobody loses weight by eating more UNLESS they burning more calories and therefore creating a calorie deficit." Well, I am not calling your competence into question, but I am afraid that I am a living proof that the statement is not entirely true. Because as I said, I have done several measurements of the calories and I have over and over again found, that the calorie-intake I have today exceeds the one I had when being overweight. In addition, I haven´t been working out ONCE.

  • dear steve,

i have a bottle of hydroxycut that i've yet to use, the reason being i would rather start taking them when i start training consistantly.

my question is weather if taking hydoxycut would help me better in loosing weight and if it does so, can i continue to loose weight just as effectively once the hydroxycut runs out

  • Hydroxycut will help you lose weight, but (yes, there is a but, no, you won't like hearing it) it causes side effects and long term effects that make it not worth the effectiveness. Not to mention you only see effects after taking it a while, you will still have to eat fairly healthy and it will most likely take a lot of time and money. You may as well drink three cups of coffee and work up to nine, that is basically how Hydroxycut curbs your hunger and gives you energy etc.

  • so should i start on it at all?

  • Some people would say yes but I and most doctors would say no, stay away from most pills and creatine, I would suggest taking at most protein powder and a multi-vitamin if you think what you eat is not adequate nutritionally to facilitate weight loss. If you go to supplement stores such as GNC etc. they will try to sell you on everything, weight was 119 and I went in to test what they thought was "right" and they suggested "Akavar" which is not even intended for men let alone ones of that weight

  • Hydroxycut is also mainly a diuretic so you will be dehydrated and if you stop taking it even for a short time you will gain back a large amount of water weight, my suggestion is first trying a balanced diet, lots of fruits and vegetables, limited white flour, whole grains, proteins and moderate exercise, even if just a stroll down the block it can do wonders I used to walk after eating and do push ups when I had time and went from 204 to now less than 130, no loss of muscle or water either.

  • Hydroxycut is a scam

  • Hydroxycut hardcore works for weight loss but a lot of it is water weight and it is also not very safe to use health-wise.

  • Maybe. I think that supplements can be good but they are overrated. Like many guys drink protein shakes instead of eating real food. Protein shakes are good after weight lifting with twice as much carbs.

  • "South beach, North Pole...." LOL !!!

  • haha....:))

  • sexy!

  • i spelt your name wrong on another video sorry lol, but good stuff again , cheers.

  • I don't agree with this guy at all

  • The best way to lose weight is to eat the food you like least and the food that taste nothing. Try to eat grilled or cooked cabbages with no salt, spices. U will never over eat. If u could stop smoking and drinking then u can also stop eating every think with sugar and flour. U eat vegetables, protein and fruits, very little salt, believe me u will shrink. Actually we eat too much calories as if we were physically working hard in 14 hours every day.

  • there are 3 body types in the whole world theres the ectomorph mesomorph & endomorph im not going to go in detail in each bodytype not enough space on here but once you work out which one or combination you are then you have a better picture then you can adjust your carb & protein intake according to your metabolism. just for the record all the info on this is on Wikipedia encyclopedia

  • The problem is that when your favorite foods are in front of you, "eating less of them" no longer becomes an option for most people, because most people just don't have the will power to eat less of their favorite foods. The only diet that works is what I call the crappy diet - eat only foods you hate, like vegetables and fruit, and makes sure you go to be hungry and feeling crappy. Do this for a year. You'll lose weight. Then do it for the rest of your life, or you'll gain all the weight back.

  • hey steve one question here! i just moved and the closest gym to me is about 1 hour walking from me...ive been going there for 2 weeks now but at the end of the week im always more tired then usual...do u think walking has something to do with that? what do ut hink i should do O_O i dont wanna stop working out thanks in advanced.

  • Walking will definitely make you tired. Plus, by the end of the week you're just getting worn out from walking and working out. You can try consolidating your workout into 3 days so you don't have to walk to the gym every day.

  • Are you still walking? It depends on what your goals are, if your trying to gain muscle then that is too much walking but if your trying to lose weight your improve your overall fitness then it may not be all that bad.

  • na i just moved again but luckly to a closer gym so is all good now.

  • If you ask me then no I haven´t been walking so much lately because I haven´t had time. I have a physical job were I move my arms a lot and I walk a lot also but not fast. I haven´tn tried to lose weight lately. Just been weightlifting some. I get vacation next week. Then I´m going to walk every morning and maybe do some running like a couple of times a week if it´s not too hot.

  • incorrect, counting calories only counts energy and does not take into account the chemistry of the body from catalysts to hormones.

  • so true

  • agree

  • most terrible thing, eat very little the rest of your live even if it are the things you like most (chips, hamburgers, icecream). You have to eat so little of it you are always feeling hungry and short of vitamins. Read the atkins book about carbs and combine this diet with the fitforlife and you can eat quit a lot, not hungry, and stay slim

  • michelstube, do you feel "short of vitamins" when not eating "things you like most (chips, hamburgers, icecream)"?

what kind of vitamins are there in chips or hamburgers, which are crap??!!

    that's a real funny statement :)))))

  • ^^^^

CLASSIC DIETS ARE STILL THE BEST!

  • Nice job!

  • dude im at 7% oh yeahhh i started off at 13% now i got me one of them sweeeeet ole 6 packs :) YEAH BUDDDY

  • south beach , north pole , lol

  • sound, effective advice that most people overlook!

  • he is rite about amounts in food but wat he doesnt mention is tht certain foods will have a better effect on ur body than others.u can eat cupcakes and still loose weight or instead u could eat a fruit, vegitable(spell check) or a protein and b tht much further ahead towards ur goal.but hes still a brilliant man so listen to wat he says.

  • That's true, but he was just addressing the single issue of losing fat. You can do that easily, but if you do it right, you'll also be healthier when you've reached your goal. ^_^

  • dude he's not overweight, what you see is muscle.. he porbably has like 9% body fat

  • And... what's you're point? This guy doesn't run marathons. Being overweight you'd need like 20+ percent of body fat and this guy doesn't have that.. 9 or 10 are both really good and healthy b.f % to have

  • It strikes me as absurdly odd that you claimed to be a doctor in the comments on another video, you sound like you're not out of grade school yet, let alone a med school graduate.

  • Guys relax, this video isn't actually about nutrition, its about what foods help weight loss. Everyone knows proper nutrition is important to be healthy overall but this video is about weight loss foods and he answers that it doesn't matter what you eat, its about how many calories you take in. Less calories you consume than usual you will lose weight.

    Cheers =)

  • I've watched every single one of this videos.. some a few times even and all of them are short and to the point. If you check out his other vid about nutrition, it's obvious he knows what good nutrition is and is speaking to the audience as if they know as well. perhaps he should apologize for not spelling every little thing out for you.. unfortunately, tough to do in 2 minute videos.

  • holy shit this vid is ridiculous! totally untrue, completely unfounded. what you eat is extremely important. you need to get all of your NUTRIENTS to be healthy, vital and on top of your game physically and mentally. If you just want to look decent in the mirror but still be unhealthy follow this advice but why would you want that?

  • Do you think this guy would actually go out and say that overall health doesn't matter? all he is doing is showing that you don't have to fear food..or go around avoiding things to loose weight such as adkins or any other diet where you tip toe around certain foods...

  • actually i've seen alot of this guy's videos and some of them are good but when it comes to nutrition he is horrible and misleading every step of the way. he really doesn't care about nutrients and being healthy only losing weight or gaining muscle which is not, by itself, a good indicator of health. In one video he says that he himself is lucky if he chokes down 1 fruit or vegetable a day and if u don't know how important nutrients are go do some homework and get back to me.

  • om ghe's not fat if anything he's muscular ok, thats what u call buff so u ppl dont need to be knockin him down ESPICALLY if he's trying to help u if u have negative comments keep them to ur self DAMN

  • And Memrmethatsokey, your dieting and caloric do play an important part in gaining muscle. You can lose fat while gaining weight, in fact, gaining muscle mass, in and of itself can cause you to lose fat, by spending the calories it takes to get the muscles, and even the upkeep of calories it takes to keep your muscles(without working out).

  • First of all, the definition you gave of dieting is COMPLETELY FALSE. A diet is "A controlled regimen of food and drink, as to gain or lose weight or otherwise influence health". Notice how, while this definition recognizes weight loss as a common goal achieved by dieting, it does not by any means emply that a controlled intake of food must be for the sake of weight loss, in order to be a diet.

  • Annybody know if its true that you can buld muscle while losing fat? and does it matter how much you eat, if wanting to gain muscle?

  • thats probily why your still fat

  • love to hear. You make sense. thanks

  • this guy is either drunk, high or plain stupid.

  • What if all you like is junk food?

  • Then you're gonna be fat.

  • You make lots of sense.

  • A diet doesn't mean lowering calories, everyone is on a diet, a monkeys diet consists of bananas etc. A diet doesn't mean lowering amount of calories, but yes that would be a weight LOSS diet.

  • im not sure this is gonna work

  • bullshit, if you go on a very low carb diet you can eat as much calories as you like(as long as you keep your carbs to mabey 20-60grams) and you will still lose weight.

  • wow.. so vege's, fruit, and cheese cake could be my diet lol. THis just makes me feel dumb by cutting read meat, eating wholegrain pasta, and wholegrain bread.

  • what a tool.

  • By definition, a diet is simply what you eat. I have gone on "bulking" diets before, where I purposely ate more than my body needed in order to build muscle. Yes, there are "cutting" diets that are designed to help people "lose" body fat. But, not all diets are designed to do so. I do realize that a lot of people are mislead concerning this fact though. So I can understand why you would say that.

  • Whats the best diet for someone who is say,13 years of age to be trying?Or does that go for any diet?

  • HAHAHA North Pole, You are a the perfect combination of motivation and comedy!
