@noobydude1 Thanks for your comment! I also watched it again and it`s amazing how youtube dismantled the graphics. :-) I can remember that I uploaded it in 1280*960 pixels, how could this get down to 240p? Looks ugly as hell, so actually I have to double thank you that you liked it! :-)

Sorry that you didn`t like it (but I didn`t force you to watch it :-) ) However, 5 of my 8 ToW videos are displaying bigger operations and since these consist mostly of advancing men and material I wanted to vary the viewing experience a little. Additionally this one was the first contest video, so it had to make a difference. Do you want to see a Overlord video without the beach landings? Because that`s not part of "Theatre of War" which concentrates on land battles.

well i dont hate this vid, it is watchable, and i dint mean the beach landings, i meant the advancing at land, like saint lo, villers bocage. and in that vid there could be americans, and british.

Hm, I think that you get that already with my "The Anvil" video... :-)

I had ideas for the last part which was supposed to include the battle of the bulge and Berlin, but unfortunately I didn`t have time for that anymore. Nevertheless I think there is not too much room anymore for ToW videos to come up with something new and as you might have noticed, my videos are not just recorded gameplay videos, resulting in 3 months of making for "The Anvil". So, somehow this is it. :-)

That was a Jagdpanzer, built on the chassis of the Panzer IV.

You PMd me and said it was a jagdpanther, no a jagdpanther is build on the chassis of the Panzerkampfwagen V panther, this is a jagdpanzer and build on the chassis of the Panzerkampfwagen IV. Just google them.

There are also Jagdtigers.

You can wait until only one is left of your platoon ;-), or.... build it (the mission/ scene) with the mission editor. There you can assign single units to form one group.

Cool thanks, its pretty awesome editing. Well done. I was curious as I think you did the scene of hill 112. Does this game come with Waffen SS units or is that completely edited as well. I have not explored enough. I saw that the US sniper was wearing the US camoflauge, something that US forces disbanded after they looked too much like the dot 44 pattern worn by the Germans. Does the British have the DPM smock as well? Good stuff keep up the excellent work.

Thanks for your comment! I`m pleased that you like the videos. There are Waffen SS units in the game but not in the camouflage uniform. I tried to make it a little more historical "accurate" by using only the german SS sniper model as the regular troops. Was quite annoying, because I had to change the weapon of each soldier manually in the game. :-( Oh, if I`m right there is only this kind of uniform for the U.S. sniper and no camouflage for the british troops.

If you want to get a clear image of all the used uniforms and weapon systems go to the mission editor and choose a map. And then you can place all infantry units of all countries on it (in the same army). Save it and afterwards load it in the Single missions folder. On the battlefield you can examine all the uniforms. :-) If you have any idea where to find the textures of the units you could also take a look there, but I have no idea of modding, therefore I won`t be of any help in that area.

Cool, thanks for that bit of info. I know Battlefront or other persons will come up with updates, maybe even patches to historicaly depict the proper Units. I was pleased to see that the Stug, personell were in artillery uniforms.

Yes, I was also surprised that 1C paid attention to that detail. What`s interesting is the "JSH" mod, if you haven`t got it yet. With that you get a few lend and lease vehicles for the russian side and captured tanks for either side, like a german T-34 or a russian Pz IV and so on. Just be sure to download the right version of the mod which is compatible with your patch version of ToW.
