I thought it was '93 on Dionne's album, not Whitney's. Not that it makes a difference.Their voices blend wonderfully. It is odd though, remembering the Dionne of the 60's & 70's, and now hearing her relegated to singing alto parts.

This came from Dionne's album "Friends Can Be Lovers" - and the record company pushed the title song from Hal and Burt, as it was the first song they had written together since the three of them split up. Big mistake, in terms of the single, as this song had a message, and power in the delivery. Also, Dionne's son wrote it, so it was a family affair. Must of played it a couple of hundred times when it first came out.
