    Thanks for posting.

  • @westermolad LOL and you are welcome. Bring back some videos of "darkest Peru"? I want to see some real life Paddingtons :)

  • Wonderful...I can almost smell tea being cooked again in our 1970's kitchen...all safe and secure.

  • this is so friggin cute it actually brings a tear to my eye. I DON'T KNOW.

  • PIMP hat

  • This sounds remarkabely like Sir Ian Mckellan in Extras when he tells Andy "You are not really John."

  • Paddington taught good manners to kids.

  • 3:47 soo cute!!!

  • I got back from london and bought the book! I love watching these

  • OMG! I remember watching this as a little kid when I was home from school sick with the flu - wonderful! (btw, Stephen Fry's reading of these stories is lovely, too.) Thanks so much for uploading! ;D

  • Thanks so much for posting = this takes me right back. I could be sitting on the old rug in front of the tv after school on a rainy day.....!! Great stuff..

  • @MrGondolier That's just how I remember watching it too! You're welcome.

  • I've been to Peru and it isn't very dark...lol

  • Paddington is very cute!!! I used to have a Paddington bear when I was a small child and I also had the books. I never saw the show till now. I love it! ! ! Thanks for posting it!

  • @vienna319 You're welcome :)

  • Oh. 1975. Sorry...

  • What year is this? I remember it very well! Still love it!

  • Haha aww.. I remember watching these when I was a toddler growing up in Sacramento, California. That explains why I have this hidden urge to speak British. When Paddington got creame and Marmalade all over his face I had to laugh! So adorable! ^^ Memories.

  • Haha, he looks so cute when he eats =]

He gets it all over his face *_*

  • Thank you for posting this! I have fond memories of this sweet little bear!

  • @rennydapooh78 You're welcome :)

  • ooohhhmygod*_*

  • Oh i have been missing this..I used to look forward to seeing these lil paddington cartoons when i was 7 yrs old...Times were hard then and this lil bear was my escape! love Love love

  • I remember when I was a little girl, one of my father's friends was from London and he gave me his daughters old copy of "A Bear Called Paddington". He said if I loved Winnie-The-Pooh (also English!), I'd loved Paddington. I can't remember his name anymore and that makes me sad, but I thank him everytime I pull my book out to read. And yes, so what if I'm 30? Anyone can read Paddington Bear and fall in love all over again!

  • @LadyAryun Glad you liked it and thank you for your story, was nice to read :)

You are also correct, it doesn't matter what age you are, you can always enjoy things like this.

  • @LadyAryun I'm 30 as well and I loved this show growing up, fantastic and different animation and I always loved Paddington more than than pooh, I guess I always found him more delightful and comical than Pooh. lol

  • 3:47-3:53 = PADDINGTON CARE BEAR STARE!!!!!!

    AmDrag

  • No marmalade sandwiches?

  • Ahh, I remember I watch this when I was young.

Now I realise this is... well, cool. Just because of black/white backgrounds, 2D hand-drawn people and model Paddington. That's quite striking and contradicting.

I'm just art and design student after all. xD Might be typical for students gushing over children's programme.

  • @gamefreak10 I’m trying to recreate this exact look in After Effects. You’re right, it’s very cool :)

  • Btw, the narrator, Michael Horden, did the voice of Gandalf in the BBC audio version of Lord of the Rings, and also the narration of the movie, Watership Down.

  • Wow, this brings back alot of memories.

  • I'm from America and remember watching this version in the early 90's as a child!!! Awesome <3

  • I took my cream covered bear in a cab with me today and he charged me an extra tenner. Britain these days...

  • the only reason I remebered this was because the name of the street I grew up on was called paddington street.

  • love how he eats xD

  • I luv this it's soo cute I have a paddington bear :D

  • Hey paddington, if youre from peru, whats with the english accent?

  • @arightoldkneesup That's the narrator's accent.

  • @TheSingingSweater hahaha..Uhh i was joking.

  • words cant describe how much i love Paddington

  • I watched this on the Disney channel when I was growing up in the early 90's. I haven't seen it since. Thank you for posting this!

  • @clockbuilderhg Most welcome.

  • This is really cute.

  • lol 3:35 to 3:38 listen to it without looking at the screen

  • lolol, i forgot. Paddington is an illegal alien!!!

  • I fell in love with Paddington in grade school..they used to show us films of him. I have been looking on Amazon forever trying to buy a copy. Thank you for posting so I can share with my kids!

  • @goofyfam42 They are coming out with a dvd on febuary 15th with all of the episodes on it through amazon. :D

  • @DarthSeraphim thats a must buy then :)

  • 6p for a taxi fare!?

  • Cool show. Paddington is very cute.

  • @monkeyjb1988 loved paddington and read all the books as a kid. loved the fact his whole face moved up and down when he ate.

  • ...bears are people too!

  • @keithymush Ugh I don't know how this is supposed to be racist against bears but k if that's what Mr.WRONG thinks

  • This show is wicked racist against bears

  • I have this as my phone ringtone and it makes everyone smile when I get a call. I'm a huge fan of Paddington - eternally optimistic and doesn't let much beat him... we could all learn a lot from him!

  • hey i'd like to make it my ringtone as well. how did you do it?

  • Not sure - husband did it for me. Will ask him and hopefully get it to you once he's told me the secret!!!

  • ahh, thank you! i shall look forward to it. ;)

  • First glimpse of Paddington in the early 80's here in a remote SW Texas town....Always remembered the music and opening of this Nickelodeon era cartoon clip. LOVE Paddington ALWAYS. Paddington collector here too.

  • Nostalgia...

  • This is fucking awesome...

    Paddington pwns

  • I remember watching this and thinking that it was both cool and creepy, lol.

  • I thought it was cool and yet creepy too, ha! Paddington rules, yet the show struck me as having an odd 'air' to it even when I was a kid.

  • LOL
