  • wish i knew how to use beats of rage.

  • lolololol Batman = Maxima's clone

  • u misrepped batman, why is he fighting like a brute. much more finesse in bat's style than maxima..

  • man that is awsum can u release a demo

  • Awesome man. Where can i download it?

  • There are a couple of non-Rom Batman beat-em-ups as well. The first one is Batman Returns for the SNES. The second one is based on the cartoon of The Adventures of Batman and Robin but is also for the same system. The last two are also based on the same cartoon but they are also good and they are made on the PS2.

  • Hi there!

Sorry for the long delaying in answering you... Actually those are not properly videos, but a sequence captured and converted to a HUGE animated gif file sincronized with a soundtrack.

I made a few. Those worked perfecly on PS2 and XboX but while on DC it uses to lose syncronism after a few seconds and recover it by a fast video reprodution.

  • lol I am also making a Batman project for dreamcast

  • What do you use to make your own Beats of Rage Mods?

  • Google Senile Team, there you'll find tools and tutorials

  • Nice. Aren't some of the sounds from eternal champions?

  • Hi. Well, not really.

The sounds are from Street Fighter II - World Warrior, which are almost the same. :)

  • LOL!!! Now that it listened again you are right. The game looks cool! Can't wait for the final product. I really like the intro before the stage. Are you going to add a scene before each level?

  • Thank you, man. Well, I was..

Unfortunatelly, due to my lack of time I had to quit. There were a lot yet to be done, including Batman Sprites, specially because I wanted to give some "life" to the cape (cloak), instead of what happens on another 2D caped characters games. So it would take me a lot of time to edit the sprites for jumping and flying kicks. Regarding the scenes, lots of them were edited and ready to use. I'll look for all my stuff incl. sources and will share with OpenBoR Comunity

  • Take your time. Somethings are worth waiting for.

  • that maxima sprite edits awesome. ne way to move to mugen?

  • Thanks.

Unfortunately I didnt finish the Sprites edition. Some moves such as Flying Kick and Jump are undone. :\

  • nice d00d.

but looks like batman's bat suit's too big for him haha

  • It is, but the number of playable chars depends on ports memory coding limitations.

For example, the DOS version of Mortal Kombat Konquest has lots playable chars, about twelve, including Motaro, Reptile, Kano, Cyrax, Smoke, Jade, Shang Tsung, etc.

Due to lack of memory of Dreamcast, some of the playable chars were cut off from the game.

  • A game based on the 1989 Batman movie. Cannot wait till this is done.

  • Well, that was at the very beginning, I dont think I'll finish this game... Sorry.. :\

But I have some other stuff such as cutscenes and other stage and the Joker, I'll try to upload the videos...

  • AWESOME!!! and I was just starting to play beats of rage games on the dreamcast, is there a demo or something you can download anywhere even tho its unfinished??

  • Thanks for the compliments, man, but unfortunatelly its unfinished and will not be released. :\ (at least not by now)

  • I really hope you reconsider! You really look like you got a winner on your hands here. But if not, would you consider sharing what you have done so far with the community? I am considering learning how to make BoR mods and have compiled some stuff to get started. I'd love to get my hands on what you have already completed but if not, any tips for a newbie? Thanks :D
