Leonard Cohen - I Can't Forget

After many years loving this song I think the reason it resonates so greatly resides in the fact that this song clearly represents something significant among his many great tracks: musically, lyrically and even spiritually it seems to represent a reflective "farewell to the troops" so to speak... sadly, given his body of work and personal struggles, I believe it speaks to this great writer's isolation and sorrow in a way that is far too poignant.
