right now you and i are amateurs, anyone whos not a pro is a amateur, if you want to be pro, you have to get sponsored , and the way to get sponsored is by entering skate competitions and asking people to sponsor you, thats when you get filmed and stuff, and hook up with a skateboard sponsor, then they turn you pro

No, first of all they're not going to sign you right away you go through a proccess called flow, flow is where you get free stuff from the companies and send in videos for them to see your progress, if they see that you've progressed they'll take you on tours to see if you can hang if they do you're amateur
