Sad to say, the whole anime was mostly fillers. It was about to get good until they stopped it. It was only stopped because of the fillers, but it has lasted thru the years and now they are making a live action movie next year in japan. Letting you all know it will come to the US so don't worry. LONG LIVE KENSHIN!

@rickzou He was a cold blooded assassin before, his life was basically only good when he met Kaoru & co and if you watched the 2nd Rurouni Kenshin OVA, his life is even worse there. The OVA ruined Rurouni Kenshin, IMO especially since the guy who made Rurouni Kenshin didn't like that ending.

@sp00kychin :) that's the way I feel too. The OVA gave off the "evil is always punished" kind of feeling. Kenshin did a lot of bad things in his life and just turning good and changing his ways didn't mean anything. *SPOILER ON 2nd OVA* If you do something wrong you'll eventually pay for it, guess they believe in Karma. I hated that but I guess it's true in a way. just because you change your ways, what you've done in the past will continue to follow you and you'll pay and he did with his life.
