  • I never had this ale b4. usally not found and sold in case's but ovver the weekend I found a red can called draught. Supposably it's the same beer but made to give a bigger and longer head then the other can that is like gereen or whatever. I might have it tonight. there should be a review video for it when i do cheer's.

  • it aint your fault mate but in ireland the correct pronuciation is smiddicks

  • @mickybo2008 Indeed, countless people have told me since I first uploaded it, haha. Cheers.

  • @mickybo2008 Or, Smit-icks; depending on what part of Ireland you're from.

  • Ah c'mon, its at least a 4.5 out of 5!

There is no beer I find more enjoyable. It is really top notch.

  • Never had Smithwicks, its not super thick like Guinness is it? I cant drink Guinness its way to thick for my liking.

  • @irishking1412 Nope. It's lighter-bodied. Very easy to drink.

  • @irishking1412 Guinness is supposed to be thick though, it's a stout. Stouts aren't supposed to be light

  • what is a widget?

  • Too bad for the short review. I picked up some Smithwick's today, and enjoying one now. You review seemed accurate. No poor aftertaste, and VERY smooth and creamy going down. I'm thinking it would taste good either cold, or at a cooler room temperature. Not as crisp as an everyday red ale, but it doesn't seem as heavy as you might think with the carmel taste to it. Best red ale I've tasted. CHEERS n' BEERS!

  • You sound half cut lol

  • We pronounce it "Smidicks" in Ireland

  • i buy 2boxes of 6 bottle packs at QFC every friday... There is no way to give up smiticks!!!

  • Come on guys, he can only get the beer in a can!

I have ad Draught Smithwicks in Ireland, and it's really good. By the way, when your in Ireland, it's pronounced without the W, "Smithicks",

  • I like Smithwicks because it's a simple, honest to goodness beer. Just malt, roasted malt and light hops. Most you taste in it is roasted malt. Just beautiful Irish Ale the way it should be, probably very close to the way it was brewed in 1710.

BTW, it's pronounced "Smithicks" without the "W". Cheers, Sláinte!

  • Shame you could only get a can, bruv. Lovely stuff. :) Enjoying the reviews!

  • Except I'm a Canadain and it only comes in a can in my area at the moment. But thanks: polite, constructive comments. like this. are always welcome and taken seriously. Cheers.

  • @hallshut 10,000 nukes> you

  • @WheresxYourxGod . ya good man . 10,000 nukes?. ye dont know how to use them , thats why e cant win a war. biggest superpower in the world my left tit. smithwicks for life!

  • @hallshut lets agree to disagree and drink smithwicks :D

  • i gotta smithwicks pub glass for free.. YEEE..

  • Your shortest review ever, Lee!

  • I almost had a shorter one...for my Corona review I debated just filming myself pouring it down the toilet without any comment.

  • SHMIDDICK'S!!!

  • its actually only 3.8 percent here in ireland

  • Oh boo, that sucks.

  • Smithicks

  • this guys a fucking idiot

  • Pronounced Smethicks. No "w" sound.

  • Good reviews, particularly like the Irish ones, seens as they are my native drinks.

Smithwicks is pronounced Smiddicks in Ireland and most of Europe, don't know why but it just always has been.

  • Interesting. Thanks for the comments.
